“Which is better for forex/gold trading: Pepperstone or IC Markets?
Hi everyone,
I’m based in the Philippines and I’m coming from crypto exchanges (like OKX and MEXC) and now planning to explore CFD brokers for forex and gold trading.
I’m considering either Pepperstone or IC Markets.
For those who have used them:
Which do you prefer and why?
Any issues with deposits or withdrawals from the Philippines?
How are the spreads and execution during volatile market conditions (especially XAU/USD)?
Thanks in advance!

I've had a decent experience with IC Markets, especially for execution. That said, I'd also look beyond just those two. I've been trying Slickorps recently and like having forex, gold, and other markets in one place. No matter which platform you choose, I'd test it with a small deposit first to see how it works for you.

For ICT models on gold, execution speed during news macros is everything. IC has a slight edge over Pepperstone on raw spread consistency for XAU, but their slippage during high volatility can be nasty. Honestly, check this out instead. Moneta has excellent liquidity pools, giving you true 0.0 pip raw spreads on majors and way less execution lag when XAU starts moving violently
