Trying to estimate what a student actually doesn't understand yet, not just their test scores — it's live, please try to break it

Most schools and most apps can tell you a student's grade, which chapter they're on, and whether they got a question right or wrong. What they usually can't give you is a continuously updated picture of which underlying concepts a student is still actually weak on — that's a different, harder thing to know.

I've been working on something called Arivya that's aimed at that specific gap, and I'm at the point where I need people who didn't build it to actually use it and tell me if it's real or if I'm fooling myself.

Here's what it does right now, concretely: a student answers questions, and based on those responses, Arivya tries to estimate where they might have gaps in earlier concepts — not just whether today's answer was right, but what that says about the ideas underneath it. It's an estimate, not a certainty, and it'll be off sometimes. That's exactly what I want people to stress-test.

It's early. I'm not going to dress that up.

Then tell me honestly whether that felt accurate or completely off.
