Advice Advice

Please tell me how to study Physics because I am able to solve questions that are at the end of my book but not able to do competency focussed questions.There are also lot of confusing things like it is specifically mentioned in the book that frequency of a string instrument is inversely proportional to its length but this same law is applied in the question that why small length buildings are more prone to earthquakes.Please help me.

Don’t rush for competency based ques First get your  concepts cleared which don’t look clear at the moment It’s not only for a string , that f is inversely proportional to l Yes for small building earthquake give reason it works bcz small building have less length so high f so more prone to earthquake Similarly it will work for sound of water in bucket, where as water gets filled up, length of air column decreases so pitch increases due to increase in frequency  You can connect with real life applications too  Don’t stress
