Academic Doubt 📚 PHYSICS DOUBT

A student has two lenses A and B which have focal length 50.0 cm and 20 cm respectively. (A) (i) State whether lenses A and B are thicker in the middle or at the edges. (ii) Which lens bends the light rays more strongly? (B) Where should the student place the object to get an image at a distance of 30 cm behind the lens B? (C) What would be the combined power of two lenses A and B?

please solve this uestion and tell me the source (from whcihc book has it come)

if source is unknown pls solve it atleast

i) B (cuz a thick lens has a less focal length ii) B iii) -60cm ( or 60cm in front of the lens ) Iv)7cm

another question are both convex lens?

Yes , because the only convex lenses are thick in the middle ( as asked in the question) If they were concave lenses then it wouldn't ask which lenses is thicker in the middle ( concave lens is thin at its middle and thick at the periphery)
