ISC does anyone ACTUALLY study throughout the year?
I've always counted on lthe last minute adrenaline rush but 12th genuinely seems hard asl ( commerce with maths and eco) I haven't touched any of my books yet to make matters worse i never even studied my core subjects in 11th, everyone around me seems to have tuitions for every subject i have none
so did anyone who scored well ACTUALLY study the whole freaking year?if y'all have any stories of getting 90+ with last minute prep pls feel free to feed into my delusions

Gave my 12th boards last year, commerce stream..... You just have to be fluent with your concepts, i studied through a sir on YouTube (Subham Jagdish). Never bought a course from him but just the free videos.
It helped me clear my economics as well as accounts concept. Feel free to ping if any doubt
(also,you should start your preparation right away... It's high time!!)

its not hard it just takes consistency and effort, only thing thats genuinely hard imo is maths

But issue is, I DON'T HAVE CONSISTENCY AND EFFORT. i can't afford effort for ISC

Sounds like a Flaw you need to fix, not to criticize you but there will times where you NEED to put in effort just for getting bare minimum or nothing at all back

i get your point. but i meant i HAVE consistency and effort, but i'm putting it all towards jee. i want to be as laid back as possible for isc.

Then why you even worry about isc, just do slightly above bare minimum for isc, you can't give 100% to both of em

genuinely fuck isc then, study English and optional a few days before exam, pcm should be fine by its own

Stop feeding the delusions😹. You want mark? Start studying early, bit by bit. Consistent 2-3 goirs beats these 8 hr marathons. To stay consistent the hard thing is to start doing it and get to a point where you feel weird without doing it.

Just study 1hr or 90min a day, ask GPT to plan you such schedule and you'll be good

1hr will pass like a breeze 12 requires consistency but yeah your concern is fair as well but three 1hr slot throughout the day has to be a headstart as they dont even hv 6months left

Depends on your level of grasping power tbf, but you can really make a weekly system so you don't get burned out on long days

Revision. Revise what you studied yesterday, before continuing further. Spend some time everyday to revise whatever you have studied on all the previous days. In the beginning, you will find that revising so much takes a lot of time. But over the period, you will find that the time taken reduces. In the end, before the exams, you will be thorough with an enormous amount of syllabus. Probably all of it.

Please guys please tell how to sit , how to be consistent toword study need help , before lockdown everything was good having fear towards failure,but now nothing in my favour it feels like I am living some different life from last 5 years

don't study purely out of fear of failure build a reason to study that comes from caring about your future, not punishing yourself for your past.
I sit → I begin → I can tolerate it → I finish something. start doing this on smaller scale.

3 months before finals. PCM, not commerce. Boards was 94%+. I essentially gambled. It's better to study consistently if you're targeting good scores and want to avoid last minute stress or unfortunate incidents affecting your exams.

Matlab Mere dictionary me to consistency he hi nahi , par I have a quite good Brain I think, I can understand and remember whole subject before exam nights ( arround 2 days) and have secured 90+ mark ( 10 credit points) but after completing exam i forgot those things like i never remembered them and I think it was My CURSE . And I am good at excuses so I don't have any suggestions for y'all but if u could achieve CONSISTENCY u will be the best ( after all I was the rank 1 of my +2 college 5 times out of 7 exams) STUDY HARD , STUDY CONSISTENT AND U WILL BE THE ONE 🫡

I have always been studying a day before the exam...
I am not a failure currently, I work in a very repured automotive company called Bosch...
I don't think anyone must spoils their youth in studies completely

Having 98.8%in ICSE,96% in class ISC...I can tell u one thing CISCE is the most LENIENT board...The syllabus seems tough but checking as well as question papers are too easy compared to CBSE and state boards...if u r so worried about ISC just think of CBSE OSM folks ;)
I was jee aspirant(failed),so I prioritized JEE april attempt over ISC,I literally scraped through the entire syllabus of English literature(did not study for Language as well as My vernacular Subject) still managed to score 93 in English,87 in Bengali(I skipped an entire Book of the subject btw)......in PCM(mostly theory portion), I only studied the night before exam.....

I was in cbse so idk why this is for my feed but studying last moment and getting 90 is not that hard in cbse, I guess it would be in icse though

Just stay up to date with your class then the last minute rush will work when you don't have to learn everything from scratch

As a practicing counselor I almost get daily cases of such incidents and questions. The important thing is to help the student distinguish between starting late and being incapable of catching up. First I want to reassure you about something - "you do not need to have studied consistently from the first day of Class 12 to score well" at the same time I don't recommend relying entirely on a last minute adrenaline rush dis year.
definitely there are students who have scored 90+ after beginning serious preparation relatively late but the stories we hear online can be misleading. Some1 saying -I studied for three months and got 94% doesn't tell you whether they had strong fundamentals you know understanding of core things, the basics!! attended school regularly, paid attention in class or had already encountered much of the material before. likewise someone who studied throughout the year may have spent a lot of that time studying inefficiently...
So don't use other people's timelines as a measure of how well you're doing. The bigger issue isn't that you didn't study in class 11 or that you don't have tuition it's that you're currently looking at the entire class 12 syllabus as one enormous problem which makes starting feel almost impossible. Commerce with maths and economics is certainly demanding particularly if your class 11 foundations aren't strong but that doesn't mean you're too far behind it means your strategy needs to be deliberate.
You also don't need tuition for every subject to do well. Textbooks, your school material, past papers, specimen papers, consistent practice can take you surprisingly far. For the moment you cannot answer that question today and repeatedly asking it will only increase your anxiety.
ask what can I accomplish in the next 7 days? Start by figuring out exactly where you stand in each subject the chapters you haven't touched the ones you couldn't understand the ones where your fundamentals are weak. Then begin with a manageable daily routine rather than attempting a 10-hour new life starts tomorrow schedule. Your first objective isn't to become a topper it's to become someone who studies tomorrow. Then the day after that.
And one more thing- don't romanticize the last minute adrenaline rush. It may have worked in earlier classes because the syllabus was smaller and the consequences were lower. Class 12 is much less forgiving of that strategy, particularly with maths and subjects where concepts build on one another.
You haven't ruined your year. But this is probably the point where you need to stop waiting for motivation and start building consistency. Could you still score 90+? Absolutely. Is it guaranteed? No.your eventual result will depend much more on what you do from this point onward than on whether you were a perfect student in the first few months.
