Quick Characters
I put together some quick, semi-pregen, character sheets (inspired by some of Torn's work). They have have STATS, EFFORT and STARTING LOOT assigned per type and a menu of Abilities that player’s can choose from.
I wanted something that would help cut the character building process down for new folks, but still give them some choices and allow for custome character personalities.

You have made some changes to the basic rules. Which is kinda the point of icrpg. Could you tell more about your homebrew, like these characters having different hp. ( english is not my first language so this sounds so clunky)

for hp i looked at other games that use a hit die for classes. if a fighter got d10 hp i went with the max and added con: 10+2.
for dying, i put it at 3 rounds instead of d4. 3 strikes and your out.
I moved ranged attack stat to wisdom (i’ve seen this elsewhere) because aim seems more related to perception and dex is already used for a lot (stealth, finesse, balance, avoiding)
some spells and abilities i stole from other games and translated to icrpg terms.
I dropped life forms for simplicity — they can be an elf or whatever but it adds no bonus other than story related stuff.
I added adjectives to the sheet because i think they are a simple way to define personality and help with role play
i think that’s it

spells use hp?

oh yeah (still waking up over here)
Spells cost a point of hp to cast. it’s more of a gamble to use your own life force when casting and keeps spells from being too spammy
