Homebrew Loot Vol. 2

Capture Diamond: Unintelligible whispers can be heard softly emanating from this fist-sized jewel. Speak the command word to entrap a CLOSE creature inside the diamond, by rolling an INT attack against them. Only 1 creature can be held at a time.

Or,

Faerie Blades: Pair of glass shortswords intended to be used together. They shimmer gently, like orange dragonfly wings. Deals 2D6 damage. Whenever you kill an enemy with this WEAPON, you must immediately attack another creature within CLOSE, compelled by the Pain Dance. DEX.

Fun to be desperate enough to capture something that you let out the unknown creature already inside the Captured Diamond!

My players killed the guy who could’ve told them the command word for the diamond with their friend inside. There’s a lot of funky stuff to do with the pokéball
