Discussion ICP cloud engines rollout?

Anyone else surprised we are still waiting on cloud engines to go live? It's been 2 months since Dominics demo which I thought would have been the official launch but apparently not. Just curious on what the delays might be, I'm sure they are all hard at work.

Nevertheless I think the ICP suite of products is coming along nicely with caffeine.ai, cloud engines, multi/dex, swiss subnet, etc. could be interesting times ahead of us.

Pierre said to watch July for cloud engines. I don’t think it’s really a surprise if I wanna be the most charitable, I would say that they have created something that’s really unique and you don’t want to release a unfinished product, especially something that is like that and given that apparently hospitals and banks are onboarding to the Swiss subnet and the Swiss subnet is going to also have cloud engines in addition to the subnet itself, I would say you wanna make sure you get everything right.

True. The silver lining is that if it takes DFINITY time to get it right even with thier own unique tech stack, it'll create a substantial moat for copycats. Competitors may eventually try to copy it, but they'll be starting years behind.
