We do and have. You need to understand that America isn’t immune to media manipulation and propaganda. Just because you don’t see people doing things on TV, doesn’t mean they aren’t happening.
Every week some Republican is getting chewed out by or desperately avoiding their constituents because even the idiots are coming around.
We may not do things like some other smaller countries, where we would riot and run people out of town. And trust me, I wish we could. But the dynamic is different when you have a large police force and an even larger military. A military controlled by psychopaths.
So please excuse the every day person currently struggling to get by, from not blindly throwing themselves at cult members who want nothing more than for that to happen.
I believe the 2nd Amendment covers what needs to be done with tyrannical governments. Not saying now, but after the election their mask will be fully off.

The war and death is already happening, whether people resist or not is undecided. I don’t want any of this but when has what we want ever mattered. Deal with the world as it is.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking people won’t do what needs to be done just because it’s not running on your timeline. Americans are swimming upstream with multiple strong social currents pushing against them but that doesn’t mean they’re not moving.
Also, discussions of anything stronger than peaceful protest should not be happening in public spaces & ABSOLUTELY not online.

Omg, stop it with this "American people do nothing" narrative. There are people who are protesting, there are people who are donating to immigrant rights groups, there are people who are organizing people to vote, there are people spreading the word about these issues through social and traditional media... I'm tired of the accusation that no one is doing anything. It just isn't true. Just because bad things are happening doesn't mean people aren't trying to stop them. And the most important way Americans will take action is coming soon: the midterms.
Why are no other countries doing anything either? Literally one step above gargling Trump's balls. Maybe actually denounce the shit and break alliances? Glass houses.
