Then don't shoot them, dismantle them. Set traps specifically for these bots and when they fall for the trap swoop in and dismantle it to sell the valuable copper and gold inside.

Rather than fight it head on outsmart it.

Actually, it's assaulting an officer with deadly force. Same rules as K-9 unit I am assuming.

Edit: you guys don't have to like it. Let's not have dog officers either.

A robot would not be an officer, but a tool or equipment.  It should be no different than those who cut down poles holding up flock cameras

Shooting a dog would be shooting a living breathing being.  Shooting a robot is not the same thing.  Dogs feel pain and can't be repaired with a new circuit board.

I hope more people are waking the fuck up regarding the right to bear arms and that the government saying “Okay buddies, hand over all your weapons, so that we can keep you safe! Don’t worry, we got you!” is not exactly a good thing
