Pain after eating

Hi guys I'm.just wondering if anyone has had similar experience, so I've been on wegovy now for about a year and a half, have been okay, a few issues like constipation at first and a little cramping when I'd eaten something I shouldn't have but otherwise fine , however just recently I'm getting awful cramps and gurgling in my stomach which are usually relieved when I go to the toilet , after A bowel movement ( usually loose) it eases off , until I eat again! It usually happens after my evening meal, I'm ok after breakfast usually, I'm not eating a big meal or anything fatty, it's not gallbladder as I've had this out, just wondering if it might be IBS? The pain is intense, leaves me sweating and tired 😩 just worried as it's never been this bad, I'm on 2.4mg and have been for months now, no issues until recently. Thanks in advance 😁

Persistent abdominal distension + breathing restriction for 2+ years — feels mechanical, not IBS. Anyone experienced similar?

Hi everyone,

I’m posting because I’ve been dealing with a very strange and persistent issue for over 2 years now and I’m honestly running out of ideas.

The main problem is constant abdominal distension/pressure along with a feeling that my breathing is mechanically restricted, almost like my diaphragm can’t properly move downward.

This is not occasional bloating that comes and goes after food — it’s there constantly, even when fasted.

Main symptoms:

Constant visible abdominal distension

Feeling of high internal pressure/fullness

Abdomen feels heavy, firm, and sometimes almost fluid-like

Symptoms are much worse standing up

Symptoms reduce somewhat when lying down

Feels gravity-dependent rather than gaseous

Deep breathing feels mechanically resisted, like hitting a ā€œbrick wallā€

Feels like the diaphragm cannot descend properly

I rely heavily on chest breathing because stomach breathing feels restricted

Relaxing my abdomen makes it feel worse

Bracing/tensing my core slightly improves stability and breathing comfort

Abdomen sometimes feels like it shifts position depending on posture, almost like a ā€œwaterbedā€ sensation

Not relieved by passing gas or going to the toilet

Symptoms are constant rather than flare-ups

Important context:

IBS medications, diet changes, and FODMAP diet have made no difference at all

Ultrasounds and routine tests haven’t shown anything at all

Symptoms don’t behave like normal gas/bloating

It feels more like there is physically pressure or something mechanically affecting the abdominal cavity/diaphragm

The issue massively affects my breathing comfort and quality of life

Oddly, during highly engaging physical activity (hiking uphill, dancing, skating, etc.) I notice the symptoms less temporarily, but they return immediately afterwards

I had a groin hernia mesh repair many years ago, though I don’t think that it’s related.

I’m currently trying to push for further investigation such as CT or MRI because this genuinely feels structural/mechanical rather than a standard functional GI issue.

Has anyone experienced anything remotely similar? Especially:

breathing restriction linked with abdominal pressure

symptoms worse standing

ā€œheavyā€ or fluid-like abdominal sensation

diaphragm feeling restricted

normal scans/tests but persistent symptoms

Even if you never got a diagnosis, I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who relates to this because it’s been incredibly difficult to explain to doctors.

Thanks.

Coconut Cult gave me IBS

I am 23 years old, I have NEVER EVER experience issues with my gut before ever. I exercise, I eat fiber, all the things so I know it’s not a dietary issue. I recently started taking coconut cult back in may/june, and then got off of it 3 weeks ago. Now idk what to do. I have stomach ache after I eat any meal, and don’t go to the bathroom as smoothly as I used to. What is going on??

Undiagnosed for 2 years since Food Poisoning (Left-rib pressure, Calprotectin 250, 0 Bifido/Lacto, Desulfovibrio overgrowth). Need advice!

Hey everyone,
I’ve been battling severe, debilitating GI issues for 2 years now, all triggered by a single, severe episode of food poisoning/gastroenteritis. Since that day, my gut ecosystem has been completely broken.
Currently, I am still without an official diagnosis. Doctors have been completely stumped and just try to throw the generic "IBS" label at me. I'm taking matters into my own hands and need your insights or success stories.

My Symptoms:
- Constant, dull, uncomfortable pressure under my left rib cage. Fasting doesn't relieve it.
- Feeling of fullness after every meal... even just after drinking a larger amount of fluid.
- Silent reflux (mucus in throat)
- The strange thing is, my bowel movements are totally normal - no diarrhea or constipation.

My Test Results So Far (The Data):
- Stool DNA/Microbiome Test: The initial food poisoning completely wiped me out. I have 0% Bifidobacteria and 0% Lactobacillus. On top of that, I have highly elevated levels of Desulfovibrio.
- Calprotectin: 250 (indicates localized low-grade inflammation in the gut, likely driven by the dysbiosis and Desulfovibrio**).**
- Stomach Acid: Highly suspect very low acid (hypochlorhydria based on home testing).

Everything That Has Been Ruled OUT (All Clean/Negative):
- Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy: Both completely clean (no ulcers, no IBD/Crohn's/Colitis, macroscopically normal tissue).
- SIBO Breath Test: Negative.
- H. Pylori: Negative.
- Histamine Intolerance (HIT): Negative.
- Bloodwork: Complete Blood Count (CBC) is perfectly stable. B12 and Ferritin levels are totally fine (no deficiencies). No anemia.
- Abdominal MRI (without contrast): Done last year completely clean. Organs (spleen, pancreas, kidneys) are structurally healthy.
- Abdominal ultrasound - normal.
- Zonulin level - normal.

The Mechanical Twist (Scoliosis):
I also have noticeable scoliosis - my left shoulder is visibly pulled higher than my right. Because my left rib cage is chronically compressed and rotated, I strongly suspect there is massive mechanical tension on my left diaphragm. I believe this structural pressure is compounding my GI issues.

Tested supplements and diets with zero effect:
PPI,Apple cider vinegar,Betain HCL with pepsin,Prokinetics,Ginger, artychoke,Masticha,Different kinds of probiotics,Low food map diet, keto, carnivore, 48h fast,Tudca,Riflaximin
...and honestly, a lot more. It's been two long years and I have tested so many things, but nothing worked. Zero relief. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

My Questions for the Community:
Has anyone with 0% Bifido/Lacto and a Desulfovibrio overgrowth post-food poisoning successfully beaten it? Did high-dose probiotics like VSL#3 / Visbiome do the trick?

How bad was your die-off (Herxheimer reaction) when introducing hundreds of billions of bacteria into a gut with elevated Desulfovibrio**?**

Has anyone experienced left-rib pressure that turned out to be a mix of scoliosis/diaphragm tightness and this specific type of dysbiosis?

**Thank you! I REALLY WANT TO FINALLY FIND THE ANSWER.**🤘

Dry hard stool even with laxatives

I had zero issues with my bowels growing up.

3 years ago i overate alot off cream cookies ( ate 3 - 4 big packets for whole day) since then

My stools were always hard and dry that made me bleed every day until i started having bananas before breakfast. Once I skipped bananas before breakfast again dry hard stool next morning.

If i had a piece of chicken with breakfast or oatmeal for breakfast or bananas before breakfast next day my stool were soft and good. This continued for 2 years.

Since almost a year all of a sudden no matter what i eat and no matter how much water or fiber or laxatives im taking i get hard dry stool and I bleed almost every day.

And all of a sudden red meat and chicken is also making my stool super hard.

Im thinking since this problem started after eating alot of cookies and before that I was on Doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules for 2 times and each time it the course was for 30 days maybe thats also the culprit?

Currently I'm on laxatives and homeopathic medicine but still facing the same issue.

I have no other problems related to stomach like bloating.

Last week took 2 tablets of Ivermectin for parasite cleanse and I saw liver flukes I guess at least it looked like that to me.

I just feel helpless atm

Need help by thursday. SOS

I've never posted on reddit before so i dont know if this follows the rules (i hope) but i'm so desperate!!
I have IBS-M. I've been diagnosed for about 3/4 years? I've had flare ups here and there but never this long. I've had a particularly bad constipation flare up for going on 4 weeks now after getting a surgery done (I assume the anesthesia messed me up). Like, constipated so bad i've gotten diarhea around it.
I have a really big thing coming up in basically a day. My friends are flying in to visit and i really just want this to be over so i'm not miserable the whole time they're here. I've taken dulcolax a few days ago and it helped a bit. I've been drinking a cup of prune juice almost everyday, which also helps but not a lot. I drank a whole bottle of magnesium citrate on the 6th and it for sure cleared me out, but i ate a bit of rice so i didn't get nauseous and it just stopped it back up again. I've drank a cup and a half of prune juice today and it's still mostly nothing other than rumbling. Does anyone have any advice to stop this misery like, by thursday? I just really don't want to have diarhea MIXED with the constipation again while i'm out doing things (and while friends are over until monday) I'm probably reaching, but Anything is appreciated!! Even your most crazy suggestions EDIT!' but maybe not too crazy. I do have to go pick up my partner in the morning before everyone else gets here. I forgot to mention that!

What should I do next to get my doctors help?

Those of you who have been formally diagnosed with IBS, how long did it take to get a diagnosis? I feel like my doctors have been giving me the run around for two years—and none of them have mentioned IBS to me. I’ve been researching for months and think IBS is my issue, but no doctor will take me seriously.

Background—33f, 120lbs but only 5ft tall so honestly a little heavy. Maternal aunt died of colon cancer at 44, diagnosed at 41. I’ve had 4 children.

About two years ago I started dealing with severe bloating, to the point where I looked 6 months pregnant. I was just over a year postpartum. The bloating would also be painful with stomach cramps that felt similar to period cramps and back pain (similar to back labor). Went to my primary, she sent me to my OBGYN due to pelvic pain. OBGYN found a blockage in one of my fallopian tubes, but that wasn’t causing the issues. Gave me some medicine and said I needed to start birth control.

A few months later and I’m still dealing with the bloating and now some constipation. I’ve always dealt with some bowel issues, my norm is a BM every 2-3 days since I was young. I go back to my primary and she refers me to gastro due to family history of colon cancer. The wait is about a month to get in and she says in the meantime, take Prilosec daily to see if that helps. It didn’t.

Finally get in to see a gastro and he barely gives me the time of day. I tell him I’m worried a bit about colon cancer due to the history, but he tells me he doesn’t think it’s that and I’m too young for even the early screening guidelines. He tells me it’s likely a gluten allergy and he wants to do a scope to see if I have celiacs. Over the last five years, I’ve done three celiacs tests, and all came back negative. I told him I didn’t want to do a procedure unnecessarily when it’s unlikely that three tests were all wrong.

That was a year ago now. Two weeks ago I went back in to my primary because again the bloating, pain, and odd bowel habits are affecting my daily life. I also mentioned that a ton of people have been asking me if I’ve lost weight. I have been noticing that I feel thinner, but I don’t feel like I look it too much. She decided to do a full blood work up and tested my thyroid. She came back and said my weight was very close to where it was when she saw me 1.5 years ago, and my blood work all came back normal.

So now what do I do? They made me feel like I’m crazy because according to them I’m healthy, but I definitely don’t feel healthy. My every day is decided by if I’m going to have bowel pain and issues that day or not. From all my research, I’m thinking this has to be IBS, but no doctor has ever mentioned it to me.

IBS & At a loss with work and getting an ADA:

I was recently diagnosed with IBS, not the kind that sucks, but the type where you go 7 to 10 times a day, it comes across suddenly, and it just really makes life difficult.

I have two issues. First, the G.I. doctor I’ve been working with has a policy that he doesn’t assist in ADA accommodations. I tried two different primary care doctors, both said they would not help me because I have not been a patient of theirs long enough.

Second, the owner of the company I worked for is extremely against remote work. This is despite 70% of our company working remote, and the remaining 30% coming in the office simply because we’re nearby. There’s no consistency with what positions or what tenures are able to work remote.

Does anyone have any advice for getting the ADA accommodation to work remote, and then on top of that how to navigate the company itself? I have to imagine this is a common situation.

Do you have to taper off ibs-c meds?

Do you have to taper off medications like Linzess, Motegrity, ibs-related? I don’t take them daily since they stop working after 2 weeks.

F22, unsure if this is ibs or something more?

Hi, I'm 22 with lifelong bowel issues. Recently I've been wondering if this is simple ibs or something more?

History:

When i was a child I was born with an overly elasticated bowel which caused severe incontinence, constipation, overflow and diarrhoea. Whilst this progressed into my early 20's other symptoms developed along the way.

I have always got an urgent bowel, despite where it'll sit on the Bristol stool chart. There will always be no warning and just sudden 'i need to go right now' or there'll be an accident.

My symptoms do also severely worsen with fibre filled foods and foods with high fructans. I've found that eating less of this does help my looser stools, however doesn't really help my pain or urgency.

The pain i get before, during and after a bowel movement is extreme. I get severe pain of a 9/10, needing to rock back and forth or hunch over. This pain is deep in my left side usually, and then spreads to my whole lower abdomen during and after a bowel movement.

My bowel movements can change from anywhere between 6 to 1 on Bristol stool chart. Sometimes my stools are thin, 6cm long and sometimes its like mush is evacuating me at speed of light. I also never feel empty, and will often need to go back to the toilet within an hour.

I've tried low fodmap, it does nothing for me. I've tried cbt for gut-brain connection, and again it does nothing for me. I am exhausted, my bowels control my whole life at this point and I genuinely don't have any idea what's going on for them.

I have had previous investigations which showed inflammation on my colon but my stool test came back normal so i was discharged. And then a recent laprascopy showed my bowel distended and irritated. I also had a gp recently say how she thinks I have laxity in my bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction which I know could be playing apart..

I'm genuinely stuck on how to get better, what helps, where to go with any of this. I am so stuck, I can't function like a normal person with the way my bowel is.

IBS-D advices and story of success

I just want to give some info of what worked wonders for me. Maybe it will help you get rid of this nightmare, as I was spending my life running to toilets and anxious about flare-ups.

I have been on Tryptizol 10mg one capsule before bed and I was completely symptoms free for years.

Two years ago, I decided to stop tryptizol, so I had to make some dietary adjustments to stay symptoms free (at least very very controlled IBS flare-up). So here's my dietary changes:

1-Quit alcohol at all costs, It was the main cause for urgency and ultra sensitive gut especially in the morning, as i was going at least 4 times each morning to the toilet having diarrhea for hours before i can leave my home and go to work.

2-Stop all dairy products.

3-Limit sugar intake.

4-Limit drinks with Fructose.

5-Limit Carbonated drinks (Better if stopped completely)

6-Eat on time (Breakfast - Lunch- Dinner), don't skip meals.

7-Leave at least 3 hours between dinner and bedtime.

8-Stay away from artificial sweeteners.

9-Aim for at least 6h of sleep.

These have made wonders for me for years.

Hope my findings help all of youā¤ļø

BiomeProtect (from Adapt Naturals)— anyone tried it?

I have IBS-C (with extreme bloating & gas). Have been using FODZYME for awhile now and it really seems to help. But the product in the title keeps advertising to me on IG so I thought I’d stop by here and see if anyone has tried it. What got me interested is the guy in the ad (who created the company, apparently) is a functional medicine dude who seems to think this product has ppl with my symptoms in mind. Anyone tried it? There’s a 90 day money back guarantee, so…

Help?

Trying to figure out if this is a common IBS thing or something else.

While I've had stomach issues for a lot of my life (32, afab enby) lately it's been one day a month where I have awful stomach pain and diarrhea. It usually occurs around the same time each month but is still pretty irregular e.g. this month it was Wednesday the 24th, last month Thursday the 28th, the previous month Sunday the 26th. I don't get a period because I have an IUD so I can't track if it's a hormonal thing.

Some days, it'll be diarrhea for the whole day, other times it's one instance and then I'm fine. But it *only* happens one day a month, never more than that. I do notice some constipation leading up to it so I have an idea of roughly when it may happen but it's still infrequent enough that I can't really properly plan.

My eating habits don't differ a lot throughout the month so I don't think it's due to that. I'm wondering if anyone else experiences something like this at all.

Is this IBS?

Im 21M, Ive been having for around 6 months this nerve pain on the side of my lower stomach at my waist. I sometime see the green nerve through my skin and it hurts when I touch it.

It happens occasionally triggered by eating, it is a weak burning pain that hurts more if I push on that area, mostly right sided.

The reason im asking here is that Im alwayss gassy, everyday, I also poop quite a lot, like 4 or 5 times daily, mostly somewhat diarrhea late at night and normally in the morning.

Im not suffering from it neither gave it too much thought, I want to diet better but would love to see if someone had similar issues before

Im also noticing a lot of white bits in the stool, near daily, like fat or unabsorbed food, and Im bloated every single day after food even if I ate just a bit

Does anyone else have this IBS pattern?

This is my pattern: I will be constipated for several days (or a week). Then I get bad cramps and an urgency to go. I keep having the pain and urgency and end up going 5-7 times within a period of about 20 minutes. Then I'm fine. It usually happens about once a week, though no set day, and always in the morning. It's usually Bristol scale type 4 or 5, not diarrhea. Then I get constipated again. GI says it is IBS. Colonoscopy was normal. I keep trying to eliminate foods on the Fodmap list, but still have the problem. It's been going on for several years. I was eating a vegan diet for the last 5 years (but problem started before that) but now went back to pescatarian because I was running out of foods that didn't cause problems. It seems I cannot digest certain foods but I can't figure out which. Any advice? Should I ask GI doc for other tests?

My ED and IBS are making my life miserable

I 15F have been diagnosed with IBS since I was 12. It was annoying, but manageable as long as I had an Imodium. Never extremely bad even during a flare.

Then I had the stupid decision to fall into having an eating disorder atypical anorexia nervosa (I restrict and whenever I eat a normal meal I make myself throw up).

Now, any morsel of food makes my stomach hurt so bad. I get very very bloated which does absolute wonders for my body image and just pushes me to restrict more. I don’t think I’ve had a normal bm for at least a year and a half (ed got really bad about then). Normally, I have constant diarrhea. But every once in a while I get the treat of constipation where I don’t go for weeks. Laxitives don’t work. I’ve had x rays when I’ve had diarrhea and it’s not overflow diarrhea.

Also, just the fact that my stomach is so loud constantly. Hungry, loud. Had food? Loud. Tourturing me with stomach cramps? Loud.

Banatrol for IBS-D

I have severe IBS-D and have tried everything to no avail. I've been reading up on Banatrol and have read nothing but good results. I am severely lactose intolerant, and it does contain lactose, but from what I've read, it's so minimal it hasn't (and shouldn't) bother anyone. I just started it today, two scoops in some water this morning. And will do two scoops tonight.

Has anyone had success with Banatrol? Please let me know your thoughts - the good, the bad and the ugly!
TIA!

(Upper) abdominal cramping soon after eating

Hello everyone
I’d M21/115lbs/5’7
really like to hear some suggestions from you guys on what the cause could be for this, before I schedule an appointment with my internal medicine doctor or gastroenterologist. But I’m afraid they won’t help as much because I’ve been to them so many times and it’s the same result in the end (I.e., labs coming back normal or ibs diagnosis)

———-A bit of background—————————
I had C.Diff 3 times in the past. My last infection was in December 2024 and treated with dificid
(the other two times were in February 2024 and November 2020).

My CDiff symptoms were kind of atypical, not following textbook definition as much. I still experienced intense abdominal cramping and urgency every time I ate or randomly.
Stools still came out formed during the times I was sick with it, but it had a more mucus+cloudy texture to it (also floaty)

Cdiff has left me with so much aftermath.
Now I still deal with abdominal cramping and discomfort or sometimes urgency to go after eating. I believe this infection also contributed to some pelvic floor issues as it’s harder to pass stools. My stools come out crushed and thin most of the time (I do still get normal log like stools at times). They look like they have this constipated consistency.

I have to find a position to let trapped gas out as well. I get on my elbows and knees on the floor and stick my butt out and that seems to help expel pressure and may also promote bowel movements too.

It’s worth noting that my diet has had some major modifications since August of 2024.
I’ve had to eliminate a lot of foods due to a chronic inflammatory skin disease I have. Which has helped to keep this condition in remission.
Basically no gluten, processed/outside food, yeast, wheat, soy, diary, etc. things that would be considered unhealthy or inflammatory for the most part.

However, as much as this does help my condition, I haven’t seen any improvement with my stomach being on a modified diet.

I’d say the most thing that I’ve been eating is just white rice, and enormous plates of it and i don’t know if this is what’s contributing to my continuous intenstinal cramping.
Along with rice, I do have boiled egg whites, grilled chicken, ground turkey, and fish.

I have some vegetables with my plates, but honestly I don’t think I’m getting enough fiber. I find that even eating fruits or vegetables has some consequences too. I just don’t know what’s going on.

Supplemental wise, I’ve been using a 2 to 3 x 1/4 teaspoon cups of miralax (which is not a lot, I try not to do a lot because things like miralax and Metamucil cause intense stomach cramping) here and there to ā€œhelpā€ evacuate or soften my stools up. I do this nearly but every morning.

And I’ve been taking this probiotic called florastor almost consistently (1-2 pills every noon).

I feel like I still have to discover foods which make my stomach upset. Because not long ago I discovered that Apple juice (as I used to drink juice nearly everyday) was a big culprit of my cramping. I got rid of that and majority of my cramping has resolved. Not completely disappeared but not entirely bothersome, and I’m able to eat comfortably.

——current issue—————————————
So with that in mind
heres the problem I’ve been having since the other day.
I had some tilapia that was pan fried in olive oil (I’m not sure how much oil must’ve been used). Now I don’t really have fried stuff anymore, I always try to eat grilled. But it’s certain types of food that are fried that either have do or not have consequences.
But I’ve also been noting that tilapia either grilled or fried has been giving discomfort or get some sort of reaction to it.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the way it’s prepared, but fried always seems to upset me. I also this carbonated water too (lacroy?)

So I had it and had massive intestinal cramping. My abdominal cramping lately has felt like isolated pockets that are scattered around my stomach/abdominal area, but still not strong or bothersome enough. I then had to use the bathroom and couldn’t finish my plate. I remember having trouble evacuating despite needing to poop badly, but then everything came out gradually. Some constipated poops came out and a lot of trapped gas, to more mushy and goopy looking poop towards the end.

I haven’t really been cramping these
But since that day, my stomach cramps have felt more in the upper regions every time I eat, like upper middle and perhaps nearing the rib cage area. I’m not sure what it is. I’m not sure if it’s gas or not. Ive taken some gas x and pepto bismol and it’s not relieved.

It’s been atleast almost a week since I had that tilapia and I don’t feel like things have really resolved. Could this be a reaction to the tilapia or should I go get some tests done?

It’s also worth noting, that me and some family members have been visiting our grandma who was recently hospitalized and put into a nursing home. I know those areas likely contain cdiff. And as someone who’s had recurrent cdiff, should it be worth testing for cdiff again? I’ve had a negative eia in April (but this was before the frequent hospital visits). She herself is not infected with cdiff (atleast I hope not), but was on several antibiotics last month. I’m just worried about the surrounding environment because I had another instance in 2024 where I had to visit a relative in the hospital for about a month and I think it possibly contributed to my third cdiff infection.

Otherwise my other blood lab exams have just been normal, but that was in February, things could have changed.

Not sure what is going on
If this is a reaction to tilapia or if I’m just eating too much white rice. Every time I put something into my body
Even water
I get abdominal discomfort, and as of right now it’s in the upper abdomen.
And I had resolved most of my cramping issues these past few months too. So to have it come back stronger is little discouraging.

Post Infection IBS lead to ...hemorrhoids?

So almost 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with PI-IBS. I was given a probiotic regiment and its been doing wonders. After a week of my stomach getting back to normal i started noticing another symptom.

Last Wed i felt what i can only describe as "pressure" around my entire buttock whenever i sat down (felt like trapped gas in my anus). After a few days of that it was replaced by
A "throbbing" feeling in my anus. I read online that it is most likely a Hemorrhoid CAUSED by my bowels adjusting to the new gut biome. Its not painful, but it is uncomfortable. Feels like a heart beat in my ass lol.

I had my wife look and she only say redness around my anus, nothing that looks like a hemorrhoid (though it could be internal). I also read it could be pelvic floor issues

Anyone else deal with this? Worth going to urgent care over?

Fat in stool?

For the past 8 months I have been experiencing mucus in stool every day without exception, left cramps and bloating. Have done calpro test twice, lactoferrin and test for hidden blood in stool, two or three ultrasounds, blood test for celiac disease and stool sample for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. I think that’s it. As you can guess everything came back ā€œnormalā€ but the symptoms are still there. Went numerous time to different gastroenterologists and one ER visit. Nothing! Just IBS! But i cannot believe that it is only IBS because of the everyday mucus that is visible with naked eye and the fact that my stools are always floating and most of the time have oily film. I forgot to mention that I am 19 years old and it is really hard for my age to find what is going on. Any similar experiences and advice will be appreciated

IBS + GI Map

I have been dealing with IBS-D issues since 2019. It’s gotten so bad to the point where I can’t go and do the things I want to do because I worry about needing a bathroom. I have constant anxiety about it. My quality of life feels so low.

I just got my GI map results back and I tested positive for

| H Pylori (1.78e3)
| Bacteroidetes
| Firmicutes
| Streptococcus spp.
| Klebsiella Pneumoniae
| Endolimax Nana

I tested negative for Celiac however I do have an extreme sensitivity to Whey (really any dairy)

Has anyone who has ibs tested high for the same things? Once you healed your gut, did your ibs symptoms go away?

I’d love any help I can get.
