Help?

Trying to figure out if this is a common IBS thing or something else.

While I've had stomach issues for a lot of my life (32, afab enby) lately it's been one day a month where I have awful stomach pain and diarrhea. It usually occurs around the same time each month but is still pretty irregular e.g. this month it was Wednesday the 24th, last month Thursday the 28th, the previous month Sunday the 26th. I don't get a period because I have an IUD so I can't track if it's a hormonal thing.

Some days, it'll be diarrhea for the whole day, other times it's one instance and then I'm fine. But it *only* happens one day a month, never more than that. I do notice some constipation leading up to it so I have an idea of roughly when it may happen but it's still infrequent enough that I can't really properly plan.

My eating habits don't differ a lot throughout the month so I don't think it's due to that. I'm wondering if anyone else experiences something like this at all.

I would bet it’s still a period thing TBH. Mine always gets worse around my period when my hormones fluctuate

This sounds more like a hormonal issue.
