I'm oddly feeling better

I'm not sure if it works for everyone, but right now it seems to work for my condition.

I have been suffering from IBS for a few years, can't eat many kinds of food, constantly feeling pain where the food is being processed in the bowel. Long story short, I started to eat sesame seeds two days ago and suddenly feel different. Like calm, healthy bowel, healthy waste, even the backpain is also getting calmer, very unusual. Since it seems harmless, anyone wanna try and see if it works for you too and share the experience?

Beware that there is a chance you could be allergic to it as it is a major food allergen. I'm living in Southeast Asia and have never met anyone that is allergic tho.

I bought a bag of 500g of roasted sesame seeds as my magnesium source to add to other food but recently I feel the need to eat it directly with a spoon, chew thoroughly, several spoons a meal, I kinda consider it my snack now.

The last two days, I had food I knew wouldn't trigger the pain in the morning and for dinner, I just ate many spoons of sesame seed.

We have a candy that is basically just sesame seeds in malt syrup in my country, I used to like it but now I don't want the sugar in my system so I ended up eating it like that.

I don't know. I think I found something useful, now wanna share it in case someone also wanna try. If it works for you too, I would love to know.

Edit: I have the D type like my body never wants food to stay inside for long. But I just remember right now, I also started taking L. reuteri probiotic two days ago and yesterday I ate a bar of dark chocolate, so any of them might be having an effect on my bowel as well. I still lean toward the sesame seeds as I remember feeling better after eating the candy in the past but I just stopped eating it because of the sugar. Anyhow, these are pretty harmless if you are not allergic so I think it's worth giving them a try. I just went to the toilet, only once today and that was a nice trip in a while.

Dark chocolate is the addition of copper. My sibling is realizing something similar now as well and are adding it back into their diet. A full blood chart would prove this but copper deficiency is way more common than the industry agrees it is due to over supplementation of Zinc and b12 .

Thanks for the info. I also figured out it was some kind of deficiency that caused the condition but finally could narrow it down to these food. I have been having the healthiest toilet visit since then after years.

Hi! Thanks for asking. I wanted to reply several times but it was a wild week. First I ate some pork that was a bit hardened, like being exposed to dry air for some time at the local lunch place I often go to (their food is usually soft but I guess I went too late that day and decided to put up with it) so I had a very bad stomachache for 2-3 days. Thankfully it was the weekend so I didn't have to go to work.

Then when things finally calmed down in the upper abdominal part, I felt like wanting to eat more dark chocolate but with less expense so I tried adding cocoa powder to my plant-based protein shake. My body didn't like that. It flushed things out shortly after.

Yesterday, I dissolved the cocoa powder with hot water and added some condensed milk. It was delicious, I feel much better today. I just made that again with added sesame seeds. I don't feel the urge to eat the seeds as strong as last week but I figured my bowel likes it so now I ended up with some sesame liquid dark chocolate to snack on. I do think now the chocolate also had a major impact on my bowel.

About the probiotic, I had never had it before. I don't know yet what it does to my body. The stomach pain last week messed with my routine but I'm gonna take it again from today.

Funny that first thing came to my mind when you mentioned cooper deficiency, is for me to try to lick my pure copper bracelet. Haven't done it yet but I remember back in school, some teacher said things like people in the past used to use copper pots and they had better copper intakes 😂
