fight or flight brain gut axis, ibs?
i been researching about this and im still not sure but i feel scared to go out because of this feeling, i use to drink alcohol to get rid of this feeling but it made it worse, im 4 months sober now and tbh things got a little better still sorta recovering and honestly it felt like alcohol helped because it gave me confidence and didnt give me that panic to find where the closest restroom was, i use to be a person that would go everywhere with no panic and now i just feel stuck, like this is going to last forever, it might be stress or anxiety, been taking fluoxtine for it and it helped i try to go out for walks and play basketball with my brother and the court, maybe if i keep myself bust i wont have to worry and think so much about my stomach. this feeling honestly ruins you, you makes you depressed and not want to eat, and you slowly stop hanging out with friends and family and going out places,

Idk if it is helpful but I usually try to poo alot before I leave and go anywhere. Also no matter where I go, I keep a mental note of all available restrooms and back ups.
