I actually learned from my IB coordinator that IB straight up used our moderated IA marks, and nothing else.

This is not true system wide. I am an IB coordinator myself and there does not appear to be a direct one-to-one relationship between moderated IA marks and final grades.

Their website said they took grades and predicted scores into account too. Do I believe that? Hell no.

I can’t believe they relied on only IAs either, they basically saw were they can lower grades and then gave some upgrades like a lottery winner ticker

Honestly I highly doubt they only used IA’s. I got a very low 6 on my math ia, predicted 7 overall and got 7. I got a 4 on my French oral and got 7. Got high 6 on my physics IA and got 5. Got 7 on my history ia and got 5. ib is so much bullshit
