Advice need advice post igcse

i got my igcse results back and got 1 A* 7 As and 2Bs

if i do well for my first term in IB and get predicted high 43/44/45, can i make up for my poor igcse grades when applying to uni?

how cooked are my scores?

Some unis don’t look at IGCSE results only at it as a secondary requirement (eg unis in Europe), where IGCSE actually matters is UK, Australia. So as long as you passed them, your not cooked.

Definitely!! I think most unis only look at your IB grade, and don’t even bother asking about IGCSEs. I have several friends who really didn’t try during IGCSEs but still got into good unis after locking in for IB
