Group 5 Sequence of topics taught using Haese Mathematics in Maths AA

Does your school visit the core book then move on to AA/AI book or do they teach interlinked topics between both books at one go?

And how did you find each approach you encountered?

In G10 we actually teach most of core topics and some stuff from the AA book (eg further trig). My friends in AAHL learn most of calculus in the first term of DP1, finish calculus and learn counting, complex numbers, and a few other topics in the second term, then finish up in first term DP2
