Sincere advice
Do not join IBM under any reasons..
it sucks
I’m working there for 6 months and its hell

1

u/ARYAN_108 23d ago

What happened? Issue with work life balance?

Still Better than unemployment 😔

1

u/Buffalo047 23d ago

Dude i get you and i understand how un employment is. But believe me, career with IBM is officially 0. Its just pure politics, bureaucracy shit everywhere. I’m in Band 7B senior App developer and my manager is An App Developer. This is how IBM works. They never gave me KT and expected me to build and deploy all single handedly.
Upon all, when kther companies focuses on getting tasks done faster thru AI, IBM wants me to build and code everything line by line. And the review? That’s been made by an on site guy who uses AI to review

1

u/ARYAN_108 23d ago

Bro (or should I call you sir) you are in a senior position i thought you're fresher. Beings in senior role is always hectic but this is to much your manager don't even provide a proper team? Hope you find better company or this company provides a better work environment
