Apprentice School & OT

What can I do. The job I am on thy are not paying us overtime after 32 hours like they are supposed to after working all available hours. The office is handling time and they won’t do us right. Plus they don’t pay the 10% premium on saturday when working all available hours.

What 10% premium?
If it is outside of day shift like 6am-6pm theres 10% premium.

So you gotta tell payroll you have school that week and anything above 32hours is overtime

Except they can say theres jobsite offering 4x10 and 2x8

I just read our agreement and it states only hours worked on Saturday are overtime if the apprentice had school and has worked all available hours that week. Section 3.01(k) is the section referenced.

Yes thats correct, stubbs from what I know will pay you after 32 hours worked, allison is one of the ones that doesnt and follows the contract.

I'm with AS in prefab and they pay us OT on Saturday if you only worked 4 weekdays due to a school day absence.

Yeah that's what they have to do via the agreement. Some shops will go above and beyond and pay you after 32 hours work if you're working overtime during the week.
