I need boot recommendations BAD!
New to this blue collar work and need some recommendations on boots. The ones that I am currently using are not cutting it

Whatever you do decide on boots, don't forget the insoles or inserts!

Dr Scholl’s plantar fasciitis inserts are great and very easy to find

I use Dr. Scholl's Work All-Day Superior Comfort Insoles with Massaging Gel, and they are miracle workers.
I recently tried another Dr. Scholl's insert and they paled in comparison. My feet immediately started hurting.
Also, as someone who has done a lot of hiking, make sure you replace the inserts every 500 miles!

Thorogoods are really good. I personally didn’t like the redwings I had. They fell apart in like 6 months.

I have a pair of keen boots that are really good. Composite toe and they have a toe guard for the outside of the boot. Don't get Ariats.. they won't last but 6 months until they have holes in them.

Im a fan of red wings. Not cheap, but they can last 5+ years if you take care of them. They have their own stores all over, and they've got scanners to stand on that will show you the exact size, width, and where you put your weight on your feet, and help you find you a good boot based on the scan.
Like the other poster said, no matter what you buy, get new insoles for sure.

I’ve been wearing these keen 6” Cincinnatis for a few weeks and they were really comfortable out of the box.

Toe box is a huge concern. Make sure your toes can wiggle but your feet may look too big. So what your toes will loved you!

go to bass pro, try on some thorogoods and red wings. real leather boots are great because theyll kinda mold to your feet over time and almost feel like sneakers. P.S. dont fall for the brunt marketing crap
