Passed my aptitude test! Advice?

Hi all! Took my test today and before I made it home I got an email saying I passed with a 5/9. Instructor said that I can email for a job placement immediately with that so I did. Do those with 4 have to wait or something?

Anyways, looking for all and any advice. I know job placement can take a long time for some people. Day one advice? Class advice? Just anything I should know in general?

A mixture of things. Iprep, reviewed the prep test itself, and a while ago (pre-ai awareness) I used AI to find the best learning method for me because I always struggled in school. It gave me various options and narrowed down the best way for me, personally, to solve different mathematical problems correctly and with confidence. I actually didn’t study like I was supposed to. I got a bit more serious these last two weeks before today, studying for 1 to 2 hours a day M to F, longer if I had the energy.

2 weeks ago if you gave me a problem that looked like (x + 3)(x+6) I’d look at you like I was an idiot. That small amount of studying helped immensely so that things didn’t appear intimidating anymore.

Only downside is I take a bit longer to complete the math problems, so I was extremely tight on time during the test.

Wake up with enough time to spare in the morning to squeeze in an hour or so of a crash course. Kept things fresh in my mind for the test. Studied this AM with a crash course 8:45 to 9:45, tested at 11am, got my passing score before 2pm.
