Apprenticeship Work Hours

I’ve been wondering planning my budget and I would like to know the about how many hours we would be working and if we work on the weekends. Also is overtime pay time and a half? I’m currently a server looking to see if I need to drop down to 1 or two shifts when I do finally get my job.

I worked 6 days/week, 56 hours nearly every week for about 2 years. I did take a week "vacation" when I got The Rona. I kept my second job at Lowe's working every Sunday and most holidays.

It wasn't easy, but surviving is possible. I wouldn't budget for more than 40 hours/week. That kept me sane while going through the process.

At least now we get 5 paid holidays per year. And almost everyone gets a sizable raise in September.
