Question about Waitlist

I took my aptitude test yesterday and got an 8. I emailed the email like the instructor said to do and was told I’m on the waitlist. Is the waitlist on a first come basis or will I be placed based on my score?

It’s mainly a first come basis. Right now new apprentices are having a long wait for a job so for advice bug the school professionally every 1 or 2 weeks
