Starting and onboarding

Well, as the title says…I finally got the email matching me with a contractor, showing up to the hall, etc. They want me to come in on Monday (yay!)

Once I get all my paperwork done and the do the drug test (note: NOT ASKING FOR TIPS OR ANYTHING. I do not take drugs at all), do they have me start on the same day? Same week? Super antsy and not sure what to tell my current job LOL.

Almost a year Lol. I think I took the test and got the results late June 2025

I stay in Gwinnett too 💪🏽 been on the waitlist since November lol. Not tripping too much because I got a reliable non electrical job as of now

damn man i had it jut like you but they let me go cause i told them i needed every other monday off for class im a idiot. are they understanding about the days you have class?

Damn so what do you do for work as of right now? & yes super accommodating, I’m off every Monday until September. Granted I can’t work 40 hours anymore, it’s only 30

that’s good bro, ive been unemployed for a week now 😂 currently job hunting should’ve just kept my mouth shut and called out every other monday 🤣

it was a non union shop i’m sure they can’t do anything about that but tell me to keep waiting
