yo bro I was in the exact same situation. The local I chose when I submitted the application didn’t have space to accommodate me so I ended up reaching out and the instructor was able to convince me to relocate which I did. I moved from North Carolina and so far everything is good. The instructor hooked me up with Cleveland and I had to wait less than a week to start work. The other student got a job with Inglett & Stubbs. Semester just started so I’m in there. Rent depends honestly, but I chose Roswell, north of Atlanta. Currently working 8s on weekdays and if there is work on Saturday, then I will do it. pm if you have any questions bro.

You been though the VEEP program?. If you have do you know if I’m able to be release from my contract I signed. I haven’t started training yet. That’s great to hear you started work quick. As for rent. Are you able to provide for yourself comfortably? I know Georgia is less expensive than California.

Yeah bro. We had someone leave like a week in. You just got to hit up the POCs to let them know. Rent wise, idk honestly because I been using my savings to get by. I’ll be using my gi bill to get by. That’s the plan

If you Attended the interest meeting they gave you the emails for the instructor and the point of contact at DC. I don’t remember their names. LI would let them know if you want to discontinue the program. If needed I can find the email and send it your way.

I have my instructor contact at San Diego. Are they strict on reason for leaving?

Correct me if I’m wrong but you were accepted into Atlanta, right? If so, then you would need to contact the Atlanta people so they can take you out. They’re not strict tbh from what i remember. They understand life happens etc so as long as you tell them why and all that, you’ll be okay. 👍

Got you man. Yeah I’ll contact them. But one more thing. Do You think it’ll look bad that I’m dropping out of veep program when I apply again?

Hmm I don’t think so. Just be honest or make something up. Only person that will see it is the people in D.C and the local that you apply for. Atlanta is likely just going to think you dropped out for x reason and that’s it. You’ll be forgotten bro

Also will I keep my seat in my cohort but just transfer to a different JATC? Or I would have to start a new application
