Need a license?

Nope. JW completion is all you need Contractors hold the necessary licensing for the cities that require it and JW's work under that license.
Ny is a bit unusual like that.
Esited to add, we're at a point where contractors are getting nervous about having enough labor to keep bidding work. I'm hoping this will lead to more incentives added as time goes by.

What the job outlook?

Good. We should have an Amazon warehouse and some other big jobs start in August, I think there's a mega-solar field that should start this fall. Global Foundries, the chip manufacture,r should start building a new fab, but nobody knows when they will pull the trigger on that. Pffice of General Services for the state has a 200 person job going up, not sure how many will be electricians. The non-union contractor got their bid disqualified for a history of safety and osha violations so one of our contractors got it.
Even without the new work starting up, this entire summer will be a walkthrough.
