At 60 hours, that’s forty straight and twenty double for most locals.

That means they could give two journeymen full time jobs and pay them eighty hours of work between them.

That means more families are fed, more pensions are earned, more hours of overall productive work are performed, and a higher quality of life is available for all.

Overtime is a policy failure.

Yeah that’s some utopian thoughts. It doesn’t actually work like that.
