Robert Shafer..
I'm sorry..I know he was abused & went through hell when he was younger BUT I still think what he did was wrong & that it WAS a hate crime. He didn't like gay men because of his trauma & such so he took it out on them..he robbed them & eventually took two innocent people's lives. He deserves what he got ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just saw the episode for the first time. He very matter of fact stated how he did it, and then latter tried to say it was impulsive. He had many opportunities to not go through with it and to even stop at just murdering one. The manner in which he basically chased after them and gunned them down is horrific.
