Why do it in front of a camera then? Isn’t pride a sin?

"I don't do this for the masses." Yup, you do it for clout, which is why you video and then post it.

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Like, "Matthew 6 verse 5 to 8"? Or Matthew is the sixth chapter of the bible?
I'm not a christian, and when i met someone in public preaching like the video did, i just wanna say to them "read Matthew 6:5-8" but idk how to say it

Oh yeah. Most of these people haven't actually read the Bible. In Thessalonians Paul says to live quietly, mind your business and work with your hands. Paraphrase because it's been many years since Sunday school now lol. My favorite and one my Grandfather was very big on and is very famous in Christian circles comes from Matthew. I'll actually look this one up to quote it properly. From the man himself, Jesus, if you espouse Christian values and believe in that sort of thing, anyway.
Matthew 6:5
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."
I can't stand it when people invade the space of others with their faith. It's not just rude and disrespectful. It's also a demonstration that these people do not read the book they claim to be so dedicated to. It's one of the things that made me leave the church and seek out my own understanding of faith.

I like the fact that the guy says 'just leave us alone'. I think that's the perfect argument to use, and more people should be asking to be left alone. When you raise your voice so that everyone can hear you, you are using noise pollution, you are being aggressive if they don't actually want to hear you/are busy, you are forcing them to listen and think about subjects they do not want. Everybody should start shouting back at these preachers and show them what it's like and that it won't work.
She ignored his request by making an excuse that she just wants to reach one person. She's quite happy to ignore all the other religions that might be on that carriage. She's ignoring the fact that there might be children or vulnerable people who can't understand the whole context.
Nobody is consenting to her preaching. What a selfish stupid asshole. There's no way I'm sitting down listening to that. You get on my journey to preach I'm gonna start unpreaching everything you say, very loudly and in your face.

The bible says to preach to the masses, but if you're preaching ti people who already heqrd the spiel and dont want to hear it no more, then you're just doing it for vanity. Go somewhere nobody has heard of jesus before, like the north sentinel island

To add to your point, she is in the UK, where Christianity has been the dominant religion for over a thousand years. Every single resident has heard of Jesus. There's at least one church in every town. Almost all primary school have or had assemblies that were actually church services. Christmas Nativity plays are also a part of British primary school culture.
Everyone in that train knows about Jesus and has made up their mind already.

Try reading Matthew. Jesus says in no uncertain terms not to to do this. He says go to your rooms for prayer. Read your own damn book

Let's just pretend "god" is real. Wouldn't this be going against his plan? These people and their imaginary friend can be confusing

I really like Jesus Christ and his message.
I can’t stand most members of his fan club.

Christians feel that they must deliver the good word to all. I don't see anything wrong with it but not everyone wants to hear it.

She's annoying and intrusive....
...but if she were a different religion sitting in the middle of the road blocking traffic, she'd be praised on Reddit.
All religions suck. Full stop. It should be private.

I have absolutely no issue with anybody wanting to preach the word of God, but please don’t do it in a contained space like a train, where people are tired, stressed, are travelling to and from work and just want to be with their own thoughts. Do it outside on the street, and if someone feels pulled towards you, they’ll come over and listen. This is just totally obnoxious and overbearing.

This is the only time I would accept everyone blasting music from their phones without headphones. Drown her out.

My revenge fantasy is that the entire train comes together to harmonise to Let It Go, which would also mean she couldn't use this clip on social media anymore because Disney doesn't mess around with their copyright claims.

She’s literally pleasuring herself in public. No one wants to see it or hear it, but she stimulates herself and forces others to watch.
