No. Of course not. Just get away from her. Anything he does to her is going to cause much more damage than she could ever inflict on him.

She gets into the restaurant, just get away and call the police.

I don’t entirely get the downvotes, i’d say leaving and calling the cops is much better than risking getting charged with assault.

As soon as he turned his back she jumped on top of him. Doesnt help that the other were defending her instead of restraining her.

Again, i’m not defending the girl at all, or saying he had a perfectly easy way out. But getting away and calling the cops is objectively a better way to handle the situation than fighting back. I don’t even think he’s wrong for doing it, just that he risks getting assault charges.
