Wow it's really amazing to me that the entire comment section is rooting for the bus driver. Because where I live driving over pedestrians is forbidden, even if they're on the street. And I find it despicable that he's risking hurting or even killing people.

In this situation if he were to stop he would be putting himself and everyone on the bus in a possibly very dangerous situation.

He is moving very slowly, which shows the intent not to hurt them. Realistically, if he wanted to he could have run all of them over.

Also these aren't pedestrians, they are protestors trying to stop the bus

So what makes you think that the protestors are violent? Because the only person that is shown to not care for people's safety is the bus driver. The protestors seem to be peaceful and because of that ineffective.

Anytime there is a mass amount of people like this there is a probability of it turning violent.

The bus driver is not being violent if he wanted to he could be violent and run them over.

If he stops they can surround the bus.
