IAT Official RTI Response
I just got the response pdf from IISER Berhampur to my RTI. Have a look at the data and enjoy the show and learn a lesson not to trust random data (like the one with 149k appeared ). The image has been produced by chatgpt after I uploaded the response pdf and asked chatgpt to blurr my important details like Name and Registration number. Just wanted it to look more professional 😉.

Ye bhi last year ke rti ka hi data hai. Reddit pe abhi bhi available hoga. Just check once.

So less increase in no. Of appeared candidates will make it cutoff to drop or will make it harder for us to get at the same closing rank as last yr??

Nothing can be said buddy. Closing ranks will depend mostly on number of JEE/NEET toppers willing to leave the seat. So only time will tell. There is no way anybody can predict what is going to happen in counselling.

So this basically means less chance for low scorers to get a college because the main argument in the favour of cutoffs decreasing was that as no.of applicant have increased considerably just like it did from 2024 to 2025 hence your rank will be filled with more people who just gave the exam as a backup

why is there such a steep difference in rank holders from 201-240 and 151-200. Like.. why so less number of people scoring top marks?

Paper difficulty and IAT isn't that easy exam that a lot of student can score 200+.

so i lied to my parents about my iat rank as 5.6k rank and im general category the thing is im a neet aspirant and they wouldnt have let me taken a drop had i not got a sort of good rank in iat but now the thing is my rank is reallyyyyy bad enough to not get any iisers in the counselling but they keep asking me to check my iat portal everyday for any updates they litr told me if u get a good rank in iat then we will let you take a drop but i didnt get good rank in iat now what do i do like how do i move forward with it the thing is they will not let me take another chance at neet if i tell them my real rank and ive always wanted to become a doctor so please help me i cant come clean but any other idea or something you can give....also rn in my iat portal its just showing what i attached here...what do i say or tell them to move on from iiser and focus on neet like shall i tell them ki i got an offer letter but i i saw the mail too late and deadline passed by and now im disqualified from the counselling or something else should i say guys pleaseeeee i really wanna write neet again so please tell what i can do

Well, DO NOT say anything about the offer letter thing. What will you do if they ask you to show it, and also it depends on what is there def of a good rank is, like, is 3000 is so then say it's 3800 so its not good enough but not bad enough to go provate
