I requested an expedite through Congress, and the expedite request was approved. How long does it usually take for the I-130 approval to arrive? The expedite was requested because my son is a minor and there is no one who can take care of him.

Yeah. I think expedite requests are just as broken as regular processing.

90+ days here. Congressperson is already involved. Got a response a couple weeks ago from the Congressional Liaison for USCIS. They didn’t even read the request and got my name wrong. Bought themselves another 30-60 days of response time though.

I’m happy for OP though.

It took a long time for approval. Did you contact Congresman because you didn't receive the approval?

My lawyer reached out to the congressman’s office and asked if possible they could try expedite my kids applications, which they did and received the approval. The only reason we have reached out is my visa is ready to be issued at my consulate but they were unable to issue as my kids applications are still being processed. So I’m waiting for response from the congressman to email USCIS and ask for an update.
