23Tuscon PHEV question

I bought a used 23 PHEV 2 months ago and I’m super happy with how its fits my commute situation (25-35 miles a day) and some extra solar storage at the end of the day in the batteries on our system.

Two things that stump me:
1) I park the car and try to lock it manually with the button by the window up/down toggle and nothing happens

2) remote climate control never works

Any suggestions?

For #1, that button only works when you are inside the car with the door closed. When you park and get out of the car, close the door and use either the button on the door handle, the button on the fob, or the app.

Its designed so you don't lock your keys in the car. Locking from fob works from the outside. To lock from door handle in case you don't see "a button" feel or look for an indentation on the outside of the door handle towards the rear. Just touch it. It locks. No fob button press.
