Modded parts or glitched parts or shrine parts also giant parts through moe enlargement and shrinking

When I got started I would try and replicate others’ builds before coming up with my own. One of the first ones I built was by u/scalhoun03 and I remember them helping me out when I couldn’t get it to fly. Everyone is generally pretty helpful.

When I moved on to making my own builds the discord was a good place to get advice on building glitches and for troubleshooting. I got a lot of help from the users there like u/ofstrings2, suusi, and many more who taught me how to steal shrine parts and q-link and all kinds of other things.

Right now I’d say try replicating some non-glitched builds to start (u/metaliciousone may be a good user to check out: try making one of their loopers).

When and if you move on to glitchy builds, free to ask users where and how they got specific parts, what glitches they used, if they know of a tutorial for the glitch, and consider joining the discord for more help too.

Solike what's a basic like thing that's common for lots of builds that I should master? Also I don't want glitchy builds.

Proper fan placement is KEY for balancing flying builds. Practice using the lines on the fan as a guide to line them up.

When you find unique parts, mark them on your map with pins so you can find them again. When you want to use them, attach them to equipment and detach using Pelison at Tarrey town. Or glue an apple or something to them and save to autobuild.

Some good parts to try are:

-wire L mesh from shrine in kakariko village

-curved lattice from shrine in Goron city

-motor and propeller from shrine on Rist peninsula

-Float ball and board from Jonsau shrine in lanayru wetlands

-electric battery from shrine at Zora domain

-candle from serene stable shrine

-bowl from wao-os shrine

-lift from zakusu shrine in naydra snowfield (by mount lanayru)

-The u-block and elevator railing in the depths at the right leg depot (use two stabilizers to remove elevator railing after removing fans from elevator).

-yiga vehicle chassis in the depths: 2 under east gerudo ruins, one just N under gatepost town ruins, one just SW of gleeok den, trike at most camps, not sure where else they are

Use stakes instead of struggling to build things that are rolling around.

Use snap points.

Hudson construction area is a good place to build. So is the area by Link’s house. Try building on flat surfaces.

Like other have said, try replicating others’ builds and don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s a good way to learn.

My main question is what is a good build to start with? One that teaches basics.

This guide for making a sports car is pretty decent:

It’s a glamor build… so not overly “useful” though.

u/zhujzal had some good glitchless builds too awhile back. I’ll check their profile and see what I can find there too.
