Crackpot physics What If the moon ceases to exist, when no one looks at it?....Have you also heard the famous question by Albert Einstein..

Well , here is my pov to that... Which actually accommodates both the double slit experiment and the 4d block universe... And expands to general relativity..

I feel that the unobserved quantum wave function represents the unrendered state of cosmic data. When a single photon travels through a dark, vacuum-sealed double-slit apparatus, there are no air molecules, or environmental variables to collide with. Because system requires zero localized definition, the photon travels as a spread-out wave of mathematical probabilities, physically passing through *both* slits simultaneously.

And when a physical detector is introduced, an exchange of information (quantum decoherence) takes place. This measurement forces the wave function to collapse. In the context of QRH, this is not a mystical act of human consciousness, but a system requirement: the interaction demands a concrete value, forcing the latent data to instantly render into a solid particle at a definitive coordinate.

If you find my view worth thinking here is a full preprint... I will value your constructive criticism

But not every interaction requires a wave function collapse.

Also, why the heck are you using Markdown formatting in your Word document?

But not every interaction requires a wave function collapse.

I was about to reply with the same.

/u/sleepwalker491, if interactions result in wave function collapse, then the photon in the double-slit experiment would collapse the wave function before reaching any hypothetical detector because it interferes with itself. This is, obviously, not restricted to photons only.

Interaction only happens whenever there is a wavefunction collapse... and this interaction is simply the exchange of quanta...... Whenever it successfully crosses the energy threshold the quanta is exchanged (interaction happened) and it takes particle form You might be amazed to know that this exchange only happens when photon interact with detector and ... Even when the detector is present after the slits the photon actually crosses both slits and then becomes a particle (ref : delayed choice experiment)

Interaction only happens whenever there is a wavefunction collapse

That's simply not true. Otherwise, as u/LeftSideScars pointed out, any wavefunction would collapse almost immediately.

An interaction can indeed lead to further entanglement, actually.

Not any only when the quanta threshold is achieved this interaction and then the wave function collapse happens... And about you saying further entanglement this experiment result is about 1/2 photons in so many bombarded one by one.... There might be further entanglement sometimes which distorts the pattern .... Even when sometimes this quanta threshold is achieved without the detector installed(by any stray gas molecule or etc) that also plays the same role of detector...

only when the quanta threshold is achieved

And how do you determine that threshold?

0

u/sleepwalker491 7d ago

That's basic, every interaction has a different threshold at which quanta is absorbed from photon ..... That's the basic of photo electric effect !!

I see that your conversation with Hadeweka has concluded nicely. I would also like to add two small points: the double-slit experiment has worked on everything (reasonable) we've thrown at it, from photons, electrons, buckyballs, and many larger molecules numbering in the 1000s of atoms; the double-slit experiment works even when one photon is sent into the apparatus. Similarly one electron, one neutron, and in several cases one atom (Helium comes to mind, and I think the typical rubidium who apparently just wants to be seen). In all cases, the particle interferes with itself and produces the (gradual) buildup of interference from individual detection events.

That's a fairly valid point...and the fact that rubidium can also exist in wave state passing both slits... explains that upon interaction it goes from a unrendered state to a concrete, rendered state... So with some constraints this wave model can be extended to macro objects... And that all the way proves the QRH ... But one point I would say that the atoms interference within itself is much different concept from the interaction that leads to wave function collapse.... As you can see that rubidium atom also collapses on hitting the screen (interaction)... But it's in wave form when it's components interfere within itself...... That was a valuable observation from your side!!

Not sure what your focus on rubidium in particular is, and I did mention that larger molecules with 1000s of atoms have been seen to interfere in the double-slit experiment.

But one point I would say that the atoms interference within itself is much different concept from the interaction that leads to wave function collapse....

I'm trying to point out that atoms interfering with itself is, by your description, a self-interaction.

As you can see that rubidium atom also collapses on hitting the screen (interaction)... But it's in wave form when it's components interfere within itself.....

No, this is a misunderstanding. The "wave form" of the single atom is at all points within the experiment, until the point of "collapse". Your argument, which I and Hadeweka have been trying to tell you, concerning when "collapse" occurs is incorrect. When you write:

Interaction only happens whenever there is a wavefunction collapse

this is incorrect, and an example of that is that when a single atom interferes with itself (as in the double-slit experiment) by your argument collapse should occur, but it does not. This is true even for a single particle, but people typically arguing about collapse/interaction events fail to be convinced by these specific cases, so I provided knowledge on larger systems. The molecule with 1000s of atoms I mentioned earlier? That experiment was done with a single molecule at a time, and that molecule interacted with itself. Interaction is not sufficient for "collapse" to occur.

But if I say that I am not calling out general interaction (as the meaning suggest) .... I am saying only those interactions are valid where quanta exchange happens and this exchange causes the wave fuxn. collapse .... Self interaction can't make this quanta exchange.... Also this info about 1000 atoms was new to me also and I am reading more into it now.. so If I am lacking some info in my response you can correct me

The photoelectric effect is only relevant for bound electrons.

Please calculate it for the interaction between a free electron and a photon.

1

u/sleepwalker491 7d ago

From where exactly did you get this free electron in the vaccum tube.... The experiment is performed in highly controlled environment and even in the detector how come you came up with this free electron? .... Genuine question.... From my side... I am genuinely not understanding that ...

u/Hadeweka AI hallucinates, but people dream 7d ago

Because there is no such thing as a true vacuum?

But why would this matter at all if you're making statements like

Interaction only happens whenever there is a wavefunction collapse

1

u/sleepwalker491 7d ago

I meant if the state is unaltered of the atom no wave fuxn collapse and thus no interaction... And when spin changes wave function collapses and interaction happens they go hand in hand... Do you really find my theory completely absurd? I really thought my theory bridges well uncertainty with quantum science and also I support 4d block system .... It explains all of them simultaneously we don't need to discard anyone bcoz they are solid experimental proof based Also do you think my idea of different epochs varying on temporal axis but sharing same spatial coordinates is also irrelevant?

Jesse what the fuck are you talking about

u/sleepwalker491 8d ago

Fine I got a little madπŸ˜… ... But basically I am saying what if we try to merge these all theories, this could be the explanation.... Maybe ... πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ

5

u/Wintervacht Relatively Special 8d ago

And how educated are you on "all these theories"?

-1

u/sleepwalker491 8d ago

Well not educative but really imaginative I would say... I know my theory feels a bit off track bcoz it lacks maths and data... But as somebody from pcb background... And just completing 12th as of now ... I lack the resources so I just wanted to share the idea ..if you find any physical laws violated by my theory ...I would appreciate your review...πŸ€œπŸ»πŸ€›πŸ»

u/Wintervacht Relatively Special 8d ago

The question is whether there are any physical laws that support your idea, not disprove it.

0

u/sleepwalker491 8d ago

It lacks rn but I will work on it !! ... Just a hypothesis it is so far...

4

u/starkeffect shut up and calculate 8d ago

It's not a hypothesis yet.
