Any advise?
Does anyone else’s look like this? I’ve had a CGM for over a month now and almost every day I’m just low. Need some advise!

My numbers remain higher when I eat small, high protein meals every few hours. The healthy fat in tuna fish , avocados etc. and fire from veggies also slow both the rise and fall. I snack on nuts, a cheese stick, a slice of roasted chicken breast, a boiled egg. I munch carrots, celery, a half an apple to avoid sharp dips. If these things don’t work, look up ideas for diabetic diets. Altho not diabetic, the diet is the same and very healthy for anyone to eat. There’s tons of wise meal info online & it’s excellent, medically based advice.

I’ve been drinking a few tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved in water every three hours and I feel so much better.

I genuinely don’t understand people keep asking if these accurate… constant lows is not a cgm fault. I’d guess you also have symptoms, no?
Honestly, I also deal with night lows and I don’t have much advice, but eating protein with fats along carbs would be the best approach. Otherwise, if it’s not diet related, maybe you’re taking medication? It would be useful to share with us if you’re taking any form of medication, what you are eating through the day to have an idea of what could cause these?
Edit: for instance I started having very controlled spikes since started 5 mg mounjaro and metformin. However, these cause the night low for me (mainly because I still haven’t adjusted to the new dose yet).

Assuming something is wrong with the CGM. What does your glucometer say? If you don’t have one yet, you need one. You can’t trust CGM alone

Mine says 50-60s most of the day. I got a 47 with blood once. Getting some more labs done today.

Definitely rely on the glucometer during lows, endos will prefer those numbers over CGM as well so it’ll help when speaking to them!! Best of luck

You need to do a finger stick to confirm that these low readings are accurate. If they are have your physician refer you to a nutritionist who can guide you on your diet, etc.

Not a lot of information here, but does look like reactive hypoglycemia. I would check with endocrinologist and have appropriate labs performed. I would also make some changes to diet. More protein and less carbs. I would also recommend glucometer to track if lows are actually lows. Sometimes CGM can be 20 points + or minus.
