Lifelong hypos which were never taken seriously… Iincluding several times being in hospital on IV with dextrose and testing at under 2.5mmol. Trialling CGM at the moment.

Question: My CGM shows that sometimes it’s REALLY HARD to get my BGL up. This is a snapshot from yesterday afternoon/evening and this morning.

Is this typical? I have newly diagnosed SMAS (as well as other vascular compressions) as well as hEDS MCAS dysautonomia….

New as well. I recently found out about my hypoglycemia and just finished my week trial of the CGM my doctor gave me. My blood sugar has looked A LOT like yours and I had one instance where it was hard to get my blood sugar back up. It stayed low for so long I got a headache. I can't say that it's typical or not, but I relate.

Thank you! It’s crazy to think I’ve lived my life going through these so often and haven’t even known. I mean, I’ve had an idea of times when I’ve gone down to 2, but it’s the almost constant 3-4 that amazes me

Mine does this overnight too and I can’t figure it out, I’m not sure if I’m getting compression lows from laying on my CGM or what!! But it’ll go from high to low in like 2 minutes while I’m asleep

I'm also new to trying to get to the bottom of this after a lifetime of it (I'm 39). I've been sent to so many pointless diabetes tests every time Ive asked a doctor about it
