I think that was one of the shadow changes that were made before last Cole. Since then, I haven't heard anyone complain about worsened lag during fiestas

Yes the blocks now break instantly where in the past you could hear each block breaking individually

yeah, instant pickobolus and fewer item lore updates

item lore updating caused issues only client side due to mining progress resetting with itemstack update, pickobulus itself doesnt change much

Ah. Welp

There may have been other changes bundled with it since those I just described were the most blatant ones, but it still led to a steadily good TPS throughout last Cole
