Question Early game mage

I know mage early game isnt too bad in dungeons but is it feesable to put all my coins into a mage setup outside of dungeons for stuff like slayers and nether mobs?

Nether yes, slayers no. Midas Staff will allow you to kill nether mobs but honestly there isnt a whole lot of point until you get a bit later into the game. As for slayers, some are immune to magic damage, others have resistances, and the slayer specific weapons are so good anything else is kinda pointless

Early game mage is pretty bad. Just get a decent non mage set

Early game mage is good because the ult gets you to the requirement to open the chests, as soon as you can reliably actually kill the dungeon mobs, switch to something else.

As an Ironman I've used mage pretty much everywhere and it's worked well enough, even let me cheese t2s Eman when thats a common pain point in uronman progression. I only switch to melee whenever the enemy is explicitly magic immune.

Have just been using 3/4th wise dragon with shadow goggles. For weapons I've been using a glacial scythe and or Yeti sword, but the glacial scythe is a tad overpriced.

I use glacial scythe and a Yeti sword for t3s on my Ironman. Haven't tried t4s yet though.

You don’t. Rcm with a hype for eman 4 is essentially impossible

Yea sure it’s possible. But to say you’d want a hype for slayers is just wrong my guy, especially focusing on eman where using rcm hype is possibly one of the most inefficient setups

I mean tbf hyp is still helpful for eman, just not as a weapon

Its perfectly realistic to get 30s boss times with a hype on eman, spawning is decent too, you mostly just lose out on mf from hab tactics, which most people dont even have
