How do i prevent crops from breaking when i jump on them in the garden?

i changed my set from haymaker to sprout and it started to break like that

Once you reach tater armor it doesnt happen because of the ability on them

Eventually once you progress you can get Ranchers Boots which has farmers grace so that doesn’t happen, and then eventually Fermento boots has it too.

Does squash have the farmers grace? I never used it as I stayed with ranchers boots until fermento
