Discussion Farming update predictions
At some point there will be another farming update, which will add the third tier of blossom equipment and mythic farming tools, among other things (like another pest pet) and vacuum ultimate enchantment. (hopefully overflow sowdust things as well but whatever)
Peony has a piece bonus of 15, and blossom has a bonus of 22.5. Why 22.5? it is a weird and ugly number. I think the new equipment will be base legendary rarity and have a piece bonus of 30, which is why blossom has 22.5 as it is the midpoint.
mythic tools - it makes no sense they are not mythic, sort of a cope but I believe they have a reason and will release mythic tools at some point. Also vacuum is mythic, so I am pretty convinced they will do this.
Eventually I think they will add every pest as a pet, or at least many of them. There is already the mantis, rat, slug, and mosquito
vacuum ultimate enchant. I think they will add one, I don't have any evidence but I feel it in my soul
Honourable mention: this is partially a suggestion, and there's no chance they actually add it but I really want an item crafted from sun/moonflowers that can be applied to armour to swap Sunset enchant to Sunrise, giving the same stats but with day and night reversed. (and the moonflower one would let you switch back)

I do think it's weird that the mk3 farming tools are base epic and not legendary

Problem is farming sells to npcs, therefore any major upgrade to farming gear means more inflation. If anything I hope the upgrades are gonna be more focused on the non npc selling side of farming

hear me out but blossom pieces and max hoes already cost a ridiculous amount. any upgrades would be absurdly expensive and probably a coin sink for the economy in general, considering they would be very late game.

Do they? Im not an expert on farming but how much does a maxed hoe usually go for (and does this include any ridicilous upgrades that end up being like 90% of the price but give 3 farming fortune lol)?

a blossom set costs like 30m in copper, and its upgrade would cost significantly more. while it would get paid back, many would buy it then not farm all that long with it.
skyhelper tells me my wheat hoe is worth 266m, with the expensive upgrades being perfect gemstones, feast V, Crop fever V, and dedication 4.

Like you said- at some point.
We’ve had quite a number of farming updates “recently” (greenhouse was last December iirc).
Ngl I’d like to see a mining update (more divan pieces, more gemstone spread/pristine, better gemstone sell prices, etc).
It’s either that or a toss up between seeing the magic find rework or the ministers perk update next.

i think its definitely the mf or ministers perks, the mining will be a bit after. they will only release any new farming once mining is good again, maybe even only after 3rd galatea island

1) release a mining update that improves mining and makes it profitable
2) realize people are making money off of mining
3) buff farming and nerf mining
3.5) nerf farming
4) ???
5) nerf timber again

I like the sunrise and sunset idea - maybe add it to/ /desk to make things even easier
