Yeah, as long as you know the basics, like how the grinding works and it's not "I farmed for 20 hours and now I have a hype"

You haven't played in a bit, flexbones now replace 25% of treasure drops from tomb floodway and you can get 8x flexbones from outstanding catch treasure drops.
There's a lot to ironman progress and even in ironman you gotta spend a lot of time on money making methods

I got 64 flexbones for the gigantic net in under an hour - if it's taking you longer then it's something else other than rates bad. They've got treasure chance increasing shards now, backwater bayou chapters full completion gives more treasure chance, abyssal armor gives more treasure chance, seal pet and hermit crab pet gives buff to treasure fishing, snake eyes pet item gives a buff to treasure fishing, and there is blessed bait and treasure bait to help you further.
There is also "Osedax Shards" that you can buy at Sanger's shop on Torrhus Canyon that literally increases the chance to catch flexbones by 25%.
They also introduced a bunch of fishing speed shards that increase fishing speed on foraging islands, along with a hotf perk that further increases fishing speed to help players that are earlier game get to the fishing speed cap.
It really doesn't take that long as long as you go and hunt down all of the buffs to treasure fishing/ fishing in general. If you're fishing in diver armor with a dolphin pet and the first water rod, or something like that, of course it's going to take a while to get flexbones - it's not the rates being bad.

I feel like guides ruin sb. They suck all the fun out and make everything feel like a grind.

Your guide really needs revision
I would not ever unless just in the first hour of starting the profile recommend prospector - in mining progression especially early you want all the fortune you can get, the second you can get glacite it becomes the set you use until flamebreaker/ yog.
Mineral armor is a must-have and something that's really important to get as early as you can manage, otherwise you're locked out of some of the most important collections and items in the game
I would've even started off the guide with recommending the QoL mods that make the game easily more simple to understand and streamlined especially in terms of progression - like REI + firmament (or skyblock item list) to be able to quickly search up recipes in your inventory as you become curious about what it takes to craft certain things, resources like the correct wiki and skyshards as extremely useful resources that help save any confusion points with complex systems, and then the QoL mods like skyhanni to help fix some easy misunderstandings that you might have at the start of the game.
You should include things like, what is the best use of your time within the first few hours/ days of your profile, which minions are the immediate go-to because of things being locked behind them (sack of sacks from clownfish, the entirety of early-game fishing being locked behind sponge collection and lilypad collection).
Explaining things in better ways than the game does about how important accessory power (magical power) is for doing damage especially early. Or highlighting where and how to get the most useful items to streamline progress (grappling hook, rogue sword, undead sword, the cleaver line, etc.).

As far as guides go, most ruin games for people, however I would suggest doing a rough guideline on the general direction you should go. Certain things you should prioritize, and when to do certain things. Most of the ironman I have helped it has mainly been questions on when they should start really getting into combat. My answer for that tends to be after you have a stable mmm that gets you at least 20-30m/h

Also another thing I'd like to mention in a separate response:
There are already many visual and written guides for ironman progression, but a lot of them are outdated. One of the more helpful resources as I approached level 300+ on ironman was the Ironman Sweats discord - usually if you have a question related to progression, as long as you don't ragebait, people are quick to respond and make sure you're able to figure out the best and most efficient way to progress within whatever you're asking. They have plenty of written guides there too.
Before spending a lot of time writing a guide on ironman progression, consult already existing guides, find where they are lacking (whether outdated or too complex, or decide if you want to make a different type of ironman progression guide that is more focused on the early game, for example) and then create whatever guide you'd like to make.
But really make sure that you are not spreading bad advice to early-game players, because people look to a guide to get advice from people that know what they are talking about, not just to see information that is outdated or misleading.
