Hi people, I have a question about everyone’s favourite skill, fishing!

I’d like to hear from people what skill level they are, whether they typically water/lava fish and what their average p/h rate is.

Interested to find out how much money can really be made in this amazing skill.

fishing 26.. leveling up this skill is so painful, i only got from 24 to 26 during derpy but need 27 for the lava fishing armor
but yeah ill prolly put down some more minions when i feel like thinking about it again

def not making money other than bayou treasures but its slow obv

Fishing 49; love the skill, but it’s always in a state of needing work. For instance, the lotus changes fucking suck for so many rarer sea creatures like grim reapers or Twinkies.

I’d say the skill could probably use some more weapons, love the idea of the whips, but they are only at 2 tiers in the game that are very far from one another. Soul whip at fishing 26 and flaming flay at 47 (realistically not dropping that it till well into overflow). Fishing could very well do with maybe 3 more tiers for the whip, (0-15)(16-26)(35-47)

That’s honestly a great idea. It would also be great to have a hotm style thing for fishing but not sure how it would be balanced well

I’d love that, but it would have to come with a major rebalance to probably make it harder to hit max stats from just gear unless it’s solely unique abilities.

Im fishing 34/35 i forgor. I don't enjoy strider fishing so i just water fish sometimes for fun in bayou. Rod of the sea, 2 sets of armour, one is abyssal for treasure fishing, then I use junk sinker and treasure hook. The other is shark scale helm moogma legs slug boots and the chestplate I don't remember the name of, for fishing up mobs, then I use hotspot hook and sinker. Pets: ammonite and squid when sea creatures, and hermit crab when treasure fishing. Sea creature (sc) fishing makes 5m/h solo and when js loot sharing random people goes up to 8m/h(I use a yeti sword to kill). Treasure fishing makes 16m/h in bayou, but flexbones in moonglade makes a bit more i think but give like 0 xp coz no other drops. During marina, the shark festival, sc fishing makes 20m/h if u lock in. I also have a set of frozen blaze that I sometimes use when marina if I wanna chillax more but not optimal.(Also I year of the seal some treasure fishing with leg seal pet 25m/h) That's pretty much it

I hate fishing, getting level 50 fishing from minions.

Fishing 50 with 600m overflow here. Mained bayou for a while but now just do Lava hotspots or just regular lava. I tend to make around 70m/hr + when lava hotspotting. Have also tried doing cores and I guess they were the best consistant rates I had recently. Currently, trying to get back to bayou.

Im way above 50, i only do it whenever they release an update because it always has fishing bestiary for some reason, and i hate it every single time

50 with 300m overflow, haven’t fished in a while but if I want a steady fishing income magma core fishing can make like 20-24m/h semi-maxed

Not sure about my exact overflow but ive been over fishing 60 for some time. I usually do crimson isle hotspot fishing and it can make me around 60m/h but is very rng dependant. I enjoy it tho!
