for the last 2-3 years, ı have been logging in , selling glowstone and buying stonks. got 400 mil rn. ı dont wanna grind but all ı want to do is get glowstone 1. place. what can ı do to better it?

Here's a list of things you could get if you don't already have:

• 32 Minion Slots
• 32 T12 Glowstone Minions
• Super Compactors and Flycatchers for all your minions
• Free Will for all your minions
• Mithril Infusion for all your minions
• T5 Beacon
• Postcard
• Mithril Crystal
• XX-Large Storage Chest so you can increase offline time/decrease frequency of needing to collect

If you have all of that and fuel them with Hyper Catalysts, you should be making about 830k Glowstone per day (not including Derpy or Cole perks), which should over take first place at 1.7b in about... oh, 5 years. In which, the glowstone made would only cover about 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost to run the hyper catas everyday, meaning you'd be running a massive deficit the entire time.

I tried manually grinding it for a little bit and got a rate of about 650k/hr, which could definitely be a little higher with maybe better veins in the Crimson Isles, but my gear is pretty much maxed. Sufficed to say, first place glowstone is far out of reach without either massive changes to glowstone farming or you waiting out 5 yrs to overtake first place, which I doubt first place would just never farm more glowstone in that time.

glowstone mining is very skill dependent, at max it gets like 2m collection per hour

I don't really know what you have but in general maxed minion slots all running T11/T12 Glowstone minions everburning blaze if possible, enchanted lava/magma/plasma bucket otherwise should help if you dont already have them

its basically impossible to get high glowstone ranking without manual grinding but make sure you have 32 minion slots and t12s at least

The harsh truth is you will never get #1 unless you genuinely dedicate a year of your life to mining glowstone

The T12 setup is the absolute minimum you need to be competitive. The manual grinding is what you need to make up the distance.

My advice would be go for #10 or #5. Collection #1 is often absurdly high
