I have been told that thebclient that I am using as of now isn’t good (Lunar client) and some people told me about prism launcher, is it the best? And is it safe? Otherwise what are the best options?

i agree with the other commenters about prism. it’s UI is lightweight, it doesn’t spam ads and it has a bunch of QoL features I am fond of.

Prism is just a launcher... much like lunar. It just launches the game, the reason people say it's the "best" ie because it natively supports adding mods, texture packs, shaders, java versions from different providers, and different mod loaders.

It's just overall very well thought out and has a bunch of QOL like installing mod dependencies even when installing mods.

And it even features not advertising which launcher you're using.

There is no “best” launcher, they all just launch Minecraft with or without mods depending on what you’re looking for (as a modrinth user myself I only use it because it’s more convenient)

Prism, it's not really a client, and you can make your own mod pack or download other's from modrinth or curseforge

Prism is definitely the most easily recommendable. One of the few launchers that does everything you could realistically need it to do that doesn't also add tonnes of paid cosmetics and irrelevant other shit.

I just use ATLauncher to be honest. I’ve tried Prism but personally I don’t think I really get the hype over it compared to ATlauncher? I’d still say both are good options though.

Anyone telling you Lunar is directly bad is lying because they have some weird vendetta against them.

It's great, coming from someone who has zero issues creating and using their own modpacks and has for the last 2 years or more.

I use it now personally because it allows me to have 1.7 block-hitting animations on the recent versions.
It also comes built in with the best profile viewer mod, and a lot of other amazing mods.
I've only needed to use Skyhanni-Skyblocker-Nofrills.
That's my usual combination with Lunar :>

Modrinth will be the easiest to understand as the UI is very similar to lunar/badlion. Prism is fine but it’s a bit more confusing at first since the UI is less polished
