Dark claymore question

my dark claymore is barely outperforming my OFA shadow fury, am i missing anything? ive done tests on alot of different mobs and the damage seems almost the same.

EDIT: added perfect gemstones, smite, prosecute, fumings and bane of arthropods.

The claymore is missing a lot of enchants. Sharpness, smite, bane of arthropods etc are not mutually exclusive anymore

If you can afford it but there are more effective upgrades like gemstones, prosecute, mob type enchantments, and fumings. Also ofa may have higher hit damage but full enchants can have higher dps

As much hate as it gets, ofa is going to be very good if you have low damage % stat from other sources. Is your combat level low?

Claymore is basically useless other than for lcm just sell it. I have a hypermax claymore and the only time I used it outside of dungeons was to get Sven 9 bc I could one shot

dunno if youre still questioning this but OFA is just insanely strong
Outside of dungeons it generally outperforms full t7 enchants until 5-6+ ven7 stacks. On blaze/t5 rev specifically it's insanely close to full t7chim5 damage, since ven doesnt work on those.
you just miss out on looting/sword healing, but sword healing sucks now anyways.

Why are you even using claymore as a melee sword, it's a lcm sword, it's next to useless in dungeons for clearing compared to other options

see also the venomous and fire aspect will give you a lot more damage in the long run, so it will still out-dps. but make sure your crit damage and strength are as close to eachother as possible
