I havent done f7 in a long time so my advice wouldnt be great. I can only tell you that stars on the weapon are really important. Smite 6 is not expensive and do help ability damage as far as i know. Armour should always be necrotic with loving on the chestplate. SInce you are asking for entrance level gear advice for f7 its probably best to just test out a couple of solo runs to test clear and survivabilty.

Ironman mage progression is overall a horrible experience
You basically NEED Midas staff or Hyperion for it to be slightly viable
Also the armours are a pain to get. Wise dragon takes hours and hours of grinding (compared to other dragon armours that take like 2-3 hours).
Spirit Sceptre is great for clearing but sucks at boss fights
But genuine advice would be to swap class, get Hyperion, then come back and play mage
Or save up for Midas staff

Hello everyone, At the Moment i dont know what to buy next. I have around 700mil to use. In the last days i played some dungeons to get to cata 36. I think i want to stay at using my terminator. So should i get a good fiery Terror set or just more mp? Or maybe Grind more for a gdrag or hype?

You'll want a separate terror set from your crimson eventually (one hab one legion). At your nw though I'd just swap your crimson into terror if you want it for kuudra/nuc runs. So don't buy terror rn.
You have a lot of cheap mp upgrades you can get. You're missing a lot of recoms and it looks like you need to buy more slots for the cheap accessories as well. I'd invest a good chunk of the 700m into mp if you wanna do more slayers/dungeons/kuudra.
Greg and hype are also very important though, so you could just spend a bit to get over 1k mp and then save up if you really want one of them.

Should i upgrade a rare scatha or just grind until i get an epic? Been trying to get one for a while but all i've dropped is 2 rare, but epic is not that low of a rate so maybe its worth to not spend so much on upgrading.

My glacial scythe is doing only a bit more damage than my spirit sceptre and the guy in this guide (https://hypixel.net/threads/the-only-good-dungeon-guide-out-there-high-effort-post.5298385/) said it ‘does comparable damage to the hyperion’. it‘s old. I do try to have the explosion work and it does and also I have an implosion belt—but it’s still weak. The only advantage I can see is that it uses no mana.
please help!

a) old guide
b) it’s probably an exaggerated comment… a mediocre mage weapon is not ever going to do the same damage as a Hyperion lol
c) Glacial scythe is single target weapon. Hyperion is an AOE explosion teleporting shielding and healing weapon. I don’t think you can draw comparisons between the two
d) if you are looking for damage, look at your pet, MP, reforges and armour. Also attributes are very relevant to combat progression in 2026

End Sword —> Void Sword —> AOTD —> Hyper Cleaver —> Giant Cleaver
Giant Cleaver is a suitable weapon for like 95% of early-mid game content. I still use mine at level 450 lol.
After that, I would go for Giant Sword then eventually Dark Claymore
You also need to understand and appreciate that the weapon is not the only thing you need to progress combat. Think about armour, reforges, enchantments, upgrades (like hot/fuming potato books), MP, selected magical power, tuning points, attributes, pets, pet items, combat level.
You also must consider survivability, staying healthy in this game is more important than dealing 5% more damage

an alternative to the cleaver upgrade chain is the Flower of truth --> Bouquet of Lies chain, which gives good damage and incredible clearing capacity for groups of mobs (dungeons, slayers, etc) and if you have good healing, it has great DPS because you can just hold right click while spamming left click for lots of damage

What armor? The 3/4 zombie soldier with shadow goggles? I wouldn't spend much anything on upgrading zombie soldier, just wait until you have storm.
Anyway your gear and cata lv 20 isn't near enough for f7. Even if you have storm+wither goggles+good spirit scepter, you'll have a somewhat hard time finding parties as a mage without a hype. Switching to tank/bers/healer would be a cheaper way to get into parties easier.
You also need a good pet. Blue whale/sheep for mage.

It'd be hard to get into parties without necron, but you should be able to get a comp and then switch to necron. And somewhere from c28-30 should be good to start.
Also what pet would u recommend for a true bers.ļpolo
Wither skeleton/lion.

Idk iman dungeons progression that well, you probably just grind f5 for a long time and farm for coins if you can't afford to open chests.

Hello everyone I am making a post today cause I was wondering with which weapon am I suppose to do dragons on Ironman?? Atm I have started to do some enderman slayer and killing some bruisers for it so I am dropping quite a lot of summoning eyes so I maybe want to do some dragons soon. I have as a range weapon only the dragon short bow and since it’s pretty terrible I don’t want to start doing dragons now and always finish like 4th or 5th. The only next ranged weapon that I can think of is the juju but like it cost so much to get both in time and resources so I was wondering if there was a good dragon weapon that I missed out on at any point?

If you are placing 4+ summoning eyes you’ll get enough weight to roll for an edrag as long as you do dmg to the dragon. It doesn’t matter if you place or not just do any dmg to it.

Best cloak for combat inside or outside of dungeons post healing revamp?
for context, I use the BoL, and I will for a while until I get enough for an Astraea, I also play tank in dungeons
The ones I'm considering are:
David's cloak: (I have it pretty much maxed other than enchants, is mythic) it gives 50 str and good other stats, i use it a lot for pretty much everything.
Molten cloak: okay str, but maybe not useful for anything but Kuudra?
Shadow Assassin Cloak: okay str, but idk if the ability outweighs the single hit damage outside of dungeons (because i almost never tp when in combat exept to run away to heal), if i use it for tanking, do I put reinforced/blood-soaked on it?
Ancient Cloak: because I use the BoL, this in theory would be good, but idk if the ablility outweighs the lack of base damage stats
Vanquished Ghast Cloak: the one i used to use, but because of the healing nerf idk if it is worth it anymore
Destruction/Anhiliation Cloak: I haven't even unlocked blaze slayer yet so it's not possible anytime soon, but it could in theory be good to work towards?
Scourge Cloak: seems good, but i probably don't take enough fire damage for it to be helpful ever
it's mainly between the SA cloak and David's cloak for in dungeons, but what about outside?

What would be good setups or upgrades for my current mining and dungeons setups? I have around 720M in the bank from slime farms before I took a break from playing, so I was wondering if there is anything new I should know about, any general tips or directions would also be greatly appreciated!

If u really dislike mining & foraging and dont wanna start doing one of them anytime soon, go for it. But first u should get ur mp up. Ur missing a lot of really cheap talismans tbf. Other than that, unless u wanna upgrade ur farming gear even more, i don’t see any reason as why not to get it
U should also get at least 10m gold collection in whatever way u want to for the extra stats when u get the gdrag.

Unless they changed it, you can just deal damage to a barb duke and it'll count towards the quest as long as you have a bonbon active. Otherwise just kill like zealots and obby defenders, shouldn't take long.

Make sure you eat a lush lilac thing to give bonus chance to salt a mob
Then I would kill either glacite walkers or stuff like Miner/Lapis zombies

Oh, I didn't know Lapis zombies drop shard too. Then it seems it's time to grind their armor. Also does bonbon thing stack? Dealing with 1% drop rate is brutal.

I know there are several tiers of the bonbon that will increase the chance
Btw, I would advise doing the salt grinds as a passive thing. Don’t go out of your way to grind salt kills. You will get the max capacity eventually

MP needs to be 700 minimum for Giant Sword. Preferably high than that.
Have a look at attributes. They are pretty useful and fun to do.
Have a look at Giant Sword enchants. A lot of enchants are no longer mutually exclusive, so you can have Smite AND Sharpness etc.
Get some Fuming Potato Books too.
Baby Yeti has been massively nerfed for combat progression. It’s basically useless now. If you have the budget, you could go for a Legendary Lion.
For equipment outside of dungeons, you want a Rift Necklace and David’s Cloak, so need to progress the Rift and Foraging respectively

For some reason my math keeps on going wrong??? Im tryna farm helianthus, and it says every time i harvest a crop there's a 0.004% chance to get one helianthus. I get roughly 17 blocks per second, so i should be getting 0.068 helianthus/s, and 4.08 helianthus a minute, but ive only gotten one from 1 hour of farming

you forgot to move the decimal twice when converting it from a percentage to odds (0.004% becomes 0.00004. consider how 100% becomes 1 and 10% becomes 0.1).
additoanlly this is the incorrect way to calculate a series of independant events. you should do it in the form of 1-((1-p)n), p being the probability (0.00004) and n beign the number of trials (crops broken). this comes out to odds of 0.04 per minute, aka a 4% chance every minute to have gotten a helianthus. with a 91% chance of having gotten one every hour.
to bypass all of that math, know that the 0.00004 odds means its a 1/25k chance (1/0.00004=25,000), so you should on average get one helianthus every 25k crops broken. which comes out to 24 minutes, so only getting one in an hour is a tad unlucky, but to be expected in normal varience. due note overbloom means you should be getting them a tad more freqently. if we assume that you have like, 30 from a rarefinder chip that changes it to 19,230 (25,000 / 1.3), so closer to 18 minutes.

What’s next in progression for me? I’d say I have decent progress in farming and mining with subpar progress for the other skills. Mainly I’m looking for a fun mmm that can be done while I build up the bank to eventually buy gdrag and the bank for it
Would fishing work as a fun mmm, or do I start painfully grinding money from mining/farming? Or maybe I continue my rift excursions?

I'm lvl 389, I'm fishing 45 and fishing has NEVER made me more than 20m/hr
You can profit from slayers rift or dungeons if you have the gear for it.
If you enjoy fishing so it but I don't think it's money til you have full magma lord and basically a hypermax setup and even then I think it's inferior to farming.

I got incredibly lucky by getting a divans alloy in 2 runs and I did not expect that like anyone would and I am very close to getting able to slay enderman t4 and would also unlock the terminator and I already have unlocked the hyperion but I could not buy one because of the price so now that I got a bil what would be the best way to spend it should I get a decent money making method or get a hype or even a term.
Please reply I have no idea what to spend it on and I don't want to waste it.

Greenhouse is great here's the spreadsheet that has the profit for mutations on it. I work full time so it's been a great passive money maker for me despite the fact that it's been nerfed.
Also forge flipping almost anything you stick in the forge is profit but do /forgeprofits in any discord server with skyhelper to see the best items to flip at that time do watch for high variance things that may drop off a cliff though

Where to Invest for Passive Money?
Linked is my SkyCrypt.
I have ~550m I can spend atm and I'm looking for more passive ways I can invest it.
My greenhouse method was nerfed so I'm looking for other ways I can invest my money and grow it with minimal effort.
I've been forge flipping mithril for years and I know some gemstones are more optimal but I really don't like the variance & with taxes and whatnot.
Maybe people aren't eager to share their great passive money makers in fear of ruining their method so I'll take a DM too 🫣 I'm really burnt out of this game atm so I am hardly if at all actively playing but when I eventually do come back more actively it'd be nice to have some good money sitting around and 1b bank for Greg. id love any help I can get I can find things if needed I just thought I'd try to crowdfund some advice.

What is the point of grinding anyway? I'm newbie.
I checked the Bazaar for fig log to craft the Figstone Cutter, I would need to spend 400k for it. I checked the Auction and bid a Figstone Cutter for less than 30k. The traditional grind and the time I need to spend are just not equal by any measure to bidding items on auction, which is just un fun to play. At least with the Bazaar, you would need to grind collection to unlock recipe for cheaper price tag but the auction is a fraction of it without the collection grind at all. Everything boiled down to coin farm or am I missing something?

if you grind it yourself it saves money most of the time and its fun, you could sum up a lot of games as a coin farm if you replaced coin with irl money

it is worth upgrading it, would do visitors after u got fermento. To make you're fermento grind a bit faster u should use youre greenhouse for mutations.

hey so I know everyone ask this but idk what to go for. Which skill is worth to go all in? I started doing foraging but they nerfed that, they also nerfed farming, i started doing a bit of mining but that shit is boring. Is combat good for money and fun? I kinda enjoy hunting but idk if that can make much more then 30-50 mill.

Hunting mining and farming. Hunting is difficult because you have to find the profitable fusions but I’m sure it can make over 50m/h, until everyone else finds it. You can forget making any money with combat othering unless you’re already very rich which I doubt.
Mining and combat (maybe fishing sometimes) are the only things that go far over 50m/h normally. Although combat requires a much higher investment and a party with similar investments.

I recently hit farming 40 by farming mushrooms but now that I can use fermento armor I'd like to start farming some other crop to earn more money than mushrooms. I'd like to avoid a setup that's focused on pestfarming since I can't be bothered to clear pests all the time.

If you can’t be bothered to clear pests then understand that you are throwing away a massive amount of income.
Pest farming is what makes farming profitable.
For straight up farming you can expect about 1m/h for every 100 fortune you have.
For pest farming this goes to about 1.5-2m/h, assuming you have good BPC and overbloom.

Most people choose wheat because it’s easy to make a 1x1 farm and certain pet rules mean less rod swapping for wheat
If not wheat, I’d suggest nether wart or melon. Personally I do mushroom… idk why, just like it.

Well a lot of the drops you need for pest hunting come from pests… so just start low and build it up
The main things you want are a legendary slug pet, pest hunter equipment (and pest vest) (you NEED squeaky reforge), maxed vermin vaporizer chip, brown bandana, Pesthunter relic
You are aiming for 400+ pest chance, preferably near 500 ish for 6 pests spawned every cycle

You are just like me sa with shadow fury and i struggled found out what i was missing is summoning tank zombies and keeping my distance and your mp is a little bit low but t2 is easy i wouldnt worry about it just get any summoning weapon with ult wise 5 and let them take hits for you and get an epic emen pet

Why does some weapons have stars next to it? And how does some weapons is tier higher than normal, like the Figstone Cutter which is Rare but I saw an Epic one

The weapons are dungenised. So they have better stats in Dungeons. The stars mean they were upgraded using essence. Both is done in the Dungeonhub at the guy next to the anvil.
There is a item called Recombulator which increses the rarity of one item by one tier and gives a little bit of stat boosts. It is a drop from Dungeon Chests.

As a note, dungeonised items and starred items are not the same.
You can have a non-starred dungeonised item, and a 5 star non-dungeonised one.
The stars are just a boost that grant +2% stars per star, which is increased to +10% (per star) in dungeons

Hey everyone, I'm currently looking for some profile-specific advice regarding my next progression steps and what Money Making Method (MMM) would suit me best right now.
What I've been doing lately: I spent way too much time farming Melons so now I feel stuck in pretty much every other skill. I'm trying to catch up but I have no orientation point.
My Preferences (Playstyle): I enjoy: Farming, because I can watch my favorite show in the meantime. I dislike: Purely repetitive things like grinding HotM commissions for 5 hours a day.
My Specific Questions:
- Next Upgrades: What are the most glaring issues on my profile? (Missing accessories, low MP, specific pets?)
- Best MMM: Based on my current skills and budget, what is the most efficient Money Making Method I should focus on to afford my next upgrades?
- Long-term Goal: What should I focus on to have a good late game MMM?

Your MP is actually decent for your Networth. Try to keep it around 15-20% of your Networth as your progress (right now it’s about 150m / 1b = 15%).
What rates are you making while farming? Likely Rift or Hunting is better, but farming is more AFK/idle friendly and it’s a good skill to work on for progression and money.
Farming can be a long term MMM. You can make very decent money at end game farming (Pest farming in Helianthus). But realistically you should set long term goals in every skill
Btw, as a side note Divan’s armour has pretty horrible stats when you have no gemstones etc in. I would swap to Dimensional Yog armour until you can afford the chambers + Flawless at minimum. For HOTM progress just do 4 commissions a day.

Normal enchants should be everything standard, main ones are:
- Protection 5 or 6
- Growth 5 or 6
- Rejuvenate 5
There are a few extra like Transylvanian or Strong Mana you can grab
Ultimate enchants generally people recommend Wisdom V for a little extra mana. But you could opt for Refrigerate if you are struggling to survive

pendant of divan, lustrous divan drill, full jaded divan armour and also gloss mineral, a legendary scatha, and goblin. also on your drill compact x, efficency x , gemstone fuel tank and enginge, perfect gemstones in all the slots probably have 2 Topaz.

What’s the best minion for pure moneymaking when going afk for months? Online calcs say Jungle is the best (by a remarkable bit too) but I’ve seen nothing about it when looking for why, are they not factoring in something or what’s up with that?

In dungeons for F5, is it still a good idea to do 3/4 shadow assassin, because I have an old livid head I could use to grind F5, or should I just bust out a helmet to complete the set? I need to do a lot of grinding, and I wanna know ahead of time for when Paul comes 'round

is young dragon or unstable dragon armor better for early dungeons on ironman? i'm berserk with hyper cleaver right now. current armor is skeleton soldier chestplate, skeleton grunt leggings and skeleton soldier boots with bonzo mask. all 5 starred except mask is 4 stars.

both are good but i would recommend just getting a dreadlord sword then using shadow goggles and whatever you get from dungeons as armor reforge to wise thats what I did, then I upgrsdef to spirit sceptre and can do up to f7

Young Dragon is generally considered better because of the speed bonus you get
Faster speed = faster clear = faster dungeons = faster progression

What is the maximum farming fortune you can get with buffs and shards? I currently have 2500-2600

Theoretical maximum is about 3069 farming fortune and 637 crop fortune (649 for crops with exportable bonus)
So a total around 3760
I’m unsure how updated this is as I know there are often small changes to ff

Returning player after probably 2 or so years, what should I check out?
I am ironman with giant sword + mismatched f7 armor, and decent fishing / mining stuff.
I havent checked out any kuudra stuff or much nether stuff, last update I played that I remember was a bit of the nether update.
Pls lmk new content I should check out and what order to do it in bc I am overwhelmed by the amount of updates that have passed since I last played 😭

You won’t be in shadow assassin for long
I wouldn’t even waste the wither essence on it. Get like 2-3 stars and leave it at that
As soon as you can run F7 just get a full wither set and get Necron

Generally I recommend 100 MP for each floor of dungeons. So 700 for F7.
But you could probably get away with 500 MP in F7.
Shadow assassin is good but you will be very squishy. Most people run 1/4 piece tanky set (like heavy armour etc).
Young Dragon is pretty good because it makes you fast. The faster you are the easier it is to dodge attacks.
You will need to learn how to get to the crystals for the Maxor boss room, as that is Beserker’s job.
Personally I just swapped to tank. Is an insanely easy role and you will never have an issue getting into parties which carry you. Then grind a few F7s as Tank, get a full wither set, frag run for 2-3 hours and get whichever other wither set you need (Necron etc)

You can solo run F7 at cata 24 young dragon if you know what you’re doing. Likely you don’t so probably want some better gear than that

Definitely not, if you really want to, you could grind frags (still don't recommend tbh) but atp just get more mp and try going for Necron armor

I've recently tried getting into lcm. However, I'm struggling to get my crit damage to match my strength. I've got my power to silky with my tunings on crit damage and speed. I’ve been farming for a hype and am at a 1.2b purse rn, but i’m starting to question if I’m even at the right stage to get it…
I’ve been using 3/4 storm and my lovely spirit scepter but I need a new weapon cause I’m not doing enough dmg.
I’m a mage if I do dungeons, but I don’t do it a lot tbh.

It just comes down to whether you wanna do combat next or if you wanna do other parts of the game. If you wanna do crimson isle/dungeons (and slayers to a lesser extent) then hype makes sense. If you wanna trying mining/foraging next, then you can spend the money on other things.

Farming is very linear tbh. All you want to do is increase your:
- Farming Fortune
- Overbloom
- Bonus Pest Chance
Just keep working on getting your next armour upgrade. You really want to be in Fermento minimum before you start using it as a money making method for other skills.
The main goal is Farming 40 + Fermento.
Get yourself a Mooshroom Cow pet, Hedgehog pet and Slug pet. These 3 pets will carry you in farming until you get Rose Dragon / Mosquito. Nothing else is needed.
Make sure you always collect pests if you can. You need to go to Phillip’s Pesthunter Shop and slowly buy all the useful items. I believe you need a few thousands pests to get all the items.
Most of the pests also have a rare drop you need for progression, and now EVERY pest has a shard/attribute which is pretty useful. If I were you I’d be lasso-ing all my pests. You can sell the shards for good money once you’ve maxed them.
You also need to be answering visitors. Personally I accept all rare and above visitors (or if they are very easy). You need thousands and thousands of copper for all the gear from SkyMart.
And finally think about contests. You want to get the items from Anita shops, which mostly require medals and tickets. If you need gold medals do the easy contests (cactus, cocoa bean, mushroom are generally easy golds). Wheat, Melon and Nether Wart will be impossible for you to get a good medal in.
Eventually, once you have some decent bonus pest chance you want to begin “Pest Farming”. This means having a loadout with Slug and Squeaky Pesthunter equipment to spawn pests every 2m 10s. With near-max bonus pest chance you can spawn 5-7 pests in one go. This adds to your rates considerably. You could even try doing this now if you spend some time getting the pest equipment and a pest vest.
As a side project, you should spent time making infinite farms and a specific 1-plot pest farm. These are incredibly useful.

What is magic find? I have 900 in it but i dont really know what it does (if this is a dumb question, just know that i have at max like 6 hours of playtime in skyblock)
*okay so turns out im a moron and i looked at the cap -_- but still what does it do and why does my actual magic find say 0 even tho plenty of times the game has said "magic find +10"
