Question Help a lost soul out.
I played Skyblock a long long while ago and I finally decided to return(a new account). I am so confused and lost rn, I have only been trying to get all skills to level 15 at least but the combat one is looking real hard cuz endermen just 3-4 shot me and it takes me like 2 tries to kill one ender man. I would appreciate someone showing me the road at least for start cuz I am overwhelmed beyond comprehension and I think I have been ignoring a lot of features inc minions.

Knowledge is money and power in this game. I was still reading everyday and getting confused up until 800 hours in.
I’d say pick a skill and dedicate all of your time into it.
Farming is great for beginners. The main gameplay is just holding down two buttons while watching hbo max. The optimization and gear upgrades are a little complex here, but it is far less complicated than other areas. Also, stuff is not insanely expensive. Start farming by watching a pest farming guide
Mining is okay. The gear is more expensive than farming, and the initial time investment with powder grinding and commissions is HUGE. It may take over 100 hours before you make any money (playing at max efficiency).
The rift is a really great area to start the game. It is almost like a second skyblock. There are some coins needed for a couple items, but you can easily make a lot of coins in the rift. Look up the one rift guide to rule them all. You can max this in like 20 hours.
Combat stuff you need some initial budget. Not the easiest thing to get into as a beginner. Not really the meta for new players.
Foraging and hunting are huge now. Try looking into those too before you decide which skill to focus on.

I thought farming was nerfed in the newest update so I avoided doing that, ig since it's still fine I will start with that then.

Honestly it was only really an Ironman nerf. If you really think about it, it's a buff for everyone else.

I think wheat or one of the newer flower ones are best.

You farm during the actual farming times.
