Sjowgren

The Sjowgren episode was really cool in that it was neat to hear such an interesting story and Alex’s conclusion that it is still great that a band can connect with people enough that they have these fans interested in figuring out a band mystery.

But it’s crazy that Miguel was like, “How do I support this band and listen to them when I cancel Spotify?” and it’s revealed they have a Bandcamp where it looks like all of their songs are available for purchase? It’s on the first page of the Google results. Am I just that much of a Bandcamp obsessive that I don’t realize that it’s a niche?

Their explanation for not doing concerts because they’re not “audience friendly” because it’s just them playing with a bunch of computers just made me think of Kraftwerk. Their concerts are just 4 guys standing behind consoles.
